Alter installing, the keyless entry transmitter (already programmed to the receiver) can be used to operate your garage door opener. You need to locate 2 things inside your garage to install the receiver: 1) the wall—mounted door oontrol: 2) an electrical outlet. select an electrical outlet different from the one already connected to the power cord of the garage door opener to reduce the chance of interlerence. The backlight of the keypad may not be visible when it is too bright outside. When any key is pressed. the next key must be pleased within 5 seconds or the baoktight turns off and the sequence is cancelled. You must begin again. It the keypad does not emit a beep when pressed. wait a few seconds and press the key again. 5 CHANGF PlN Follow the instructions below to change die PIN. To change your PIN: 1. Enter the current PIN, (tactory detault PIN 0 00 0), press a , 2. Enter new PIN, press a . 3. Enter new PIN again. press - . You can choose a PIN with either 4, 5 or 6 digits. For example. if you are changing the PIN number from 0000 to 12345, enter the following sequence, 00009' ,12345,* ,12345, * . if confirmed, the backlll LED flashes and the unit emits a long beep. If you do not hear 3 beeps after the PIN and [M is entered, that means you have entered an incorrect PIN. and the keypad trans- mitter will not operate your garage door. h PRO RANWHN q KL PAD TRANSMlTTER TU ADDlTlONAL RECEl The keypad transmitter can operate up to 4 diflerent garage door receivers. it you have more than one garage door opener, using the same keypad transmitter can control these garage door openers (additional garage door receivers Model 18 are necessary). Follow the instructions below to program the keypad transmitter to additional receivers: 0Plug in the receiver Into an eiectriwl outlet, the red light on the receiver will be on. QPress and hold the learn button on the receiver until the end of step 3. The red light will flash during the teaming process. OACtivate the keypad transmitter by entering the correct PIN sequence, (is. DOOO[#][n], where n Is the “Door Number“ from 1 to 4) that you would like to program to the receiver. the red LED on the receiver will be turned otl if it learns the signal. 'Door Number: The keypad transmitter can operate up to 4 dilferent openers. by entering different door number, dillerent signals will be transmitted to operate ditterent garage door openers. Ii you would like to program the keypad transmitter to operate door number 2. you should activate the keypad trans mltter by entering PIleuz] during programming. Entering [PlNl[#][2] afler programming will operate door 2. QYou may now release the learn button on the receiver. and the red light will be on steadily. The teaming process is completed and you may adivate the keypad transmitter. which will operate the door 2 garage door receiver. 7 PROGRAM ADDITlON ENE RANSMlTTER Additional transmitters (sold separately) can be programmed to the receiver so more than one transmitter can operate the receiver. A maximum number at 15 transmitters can be pro- grammed to one receiver. Follow the Instructions below to program additional transmitters: 0 Plug In the receiver into an electrical outlet. the red light on the receiver will be on. 0 Press and hold the learn button on the receiver until the end of step 3, The red light will flash during the learning process. 9 Activate the transmitter that you would like to program to the receiver, the red LED on the receiver wlll be [timed oil il it teams the signal. 0 You may new release the learn button on the receiver, and the red light will be on steadily, The learning process ls completed and you may activate the programmed transmitter, which will operate the garage door receiver.
