TROUBLE SHOOTING
Currently, all faulty or malfunctioning 4.0 casters are to be replaced when a malfunction occurs. This is to
be done at the Carttronics service department located in Carlsbad, CA. Any field repairs must be done by a
Carttronics trained technician with approval from Carttronics in writing. There are no user serviceable
parts or functions associated with the CAPS 4.0 caster.
A quick look at the bottom of the caster can determine electronic or mechanic malfunction by the blink
pattern of the service light located near the seam in the middle of the caster. If the service light blinks
twice every two seconds there is a faulty battery that must be replaced. If the service light blinks once a
second there is either a mechanical fault or an electrical malfunction. Contained within the definition of
electrical malfunction is radio transmission problems.
