Setting Up the Remote
e package contains the remote and the receiver module.
When the remote is shipped, the battery is insulated by a protective lm. Pull
the lm out to make the remote operational.
To start using the remote, power on the RSWA unit and wait until it boots up.
Plug the USB receiver into the USB port on the right hand side of the RSWA
unit. When you plug the receiver in for the rst time, please allow 5–10
seconds for hardware initialization, then proceed to the pairing procedure.
Pairing the Remote
e pairing procedure will set up the receiver to be controlled by a specic re-
mote. In the environment with multiple RSWA units and remotes, this allows
to choose specicaly which remote controls which RSWA.
To pair the remote control with the receiver:
• Make sure the receiver is plugged into the RSWA and that RSWA is run-
ning;
• Bring the remote within a few inches from the receiver, push and hold
any button on the remote for 5 seconds. e LED on the remote will ash
rapidly during the pairing procedure;
• Release the button and test the remote with RSWA applications.
If you need to pair a remote to a dierent RSWA, remove the battery from
the remote for about 1 minute. is will reset it to the original unpaired state.
en put the battery back and repeat the pairing procedure with the dierent
receiver.
