The "l'riCotzle‘"I digital TC1 and TCZ transmitters are a
single-channel and dual-channel wireless radio control
designed for use With automatic garage/gate operators
and access control systems. All TriCodeN products may
be combined with Linear/Delta—3W, Multi—Codem, and
Stanleym radio products.
The TriCode‘” radio formal provides a potential of 1024
different digital codes For Linear/Delta-Gm compatible
products, 256 different digital codes are available The
codes are set using a turposition DIP switch system

This deVice complies with FCC Rules Part 15 and to
Canada Rules and Regulations. Operation is subject to
the lollowmg lwo conditions (1) This device may not
cause harmlul inlerference and (2) this device must
accept any interference received including interference
that may cause undesired operation.

SWITCH SETTINGS
gAUTION:To avoid possibility of duplicating codes
in adjacent systems, all transmitters and receivers
should be rte—coded prior to operation. Unless using
maximum number of codes the following four codes
should not be used:
A All DIP Switches ON
- All DIP Switches OFF
- DlP Switches alternating ONIOFF
- DIP Switches alternating OFF/ON.
Step 1 Locate Switchts) and Connect Battery
Locate the DlP SWitch, configuration SWlICh and battery
by sliding down access cover on front ot lhe transmitter
case DIP switch IS numbered 1 through 10, The
configuration SWlICI’l is located to the right of the DIP
switch (Refer to figures it 2, 3 and 4)
The battery is located below the sWitches Ccrncct the
baite'y connector to Ine 9V battery be'ore programming
iransnittei (Refer to figure 3)
Step 2 Set Transmitter Configuration Switch(s)
The TriCode'” Transmitler lS laclory set to Linear/Delta

Usrng a pDI’lIed object set transmitter configuration
switch to desired setting (Refer Io figure 1) On dual
channel transmitters the left button corresponds to the
too set of swrtclies and the right bultori corresponds tn
the bottom set of swnches (Single Channel, Reler in
figure 3; Dual Channel Refer to figure 4)
Step 3 Set Transmitter DIP Switch(s)
The TriCode'“ Transmitter DIP si talus) are factory set.

Note: Switches in receiver must match the switches
in all transmitters used to operate the receiver.
Some older radios use toggle switches and it may
be difficult to dflermine ‘ON‘ 8. “OFF'. If so, try
reverse settings on the TriCode'"
Step 4 Test the Equipment
It not already installed. connect the receiver to the
operator as described in their installation instructions.
Be sure the door/gate area is clear at peaple and
obstructions Activate the transmitter button to verify
that the receiver Relay “clicks" 8. the opener activates.
It the receiver relay does not “click" verily power
connection to receiver. Then review configuration & DIP
switch settings in both dewses.

Battery Replacement
The 9 volt battery should last i2 to 18 monms 0! normal
use. The red LED on the lace ol the transmitter will
light dimly or not at all when the battery needs replacing
The battery is located under the access cover.
