SETTING THE PERSONAL ENTRY PASSWORD
We recommend that you install the batteria and program the keyless entry now, prior to installation. Then you can test the
reception at the mounting location before you proceed further.
USING THE MULTI-FUNCTION DOOR CONTROL USING THE “LEARN" BU1TON

TO CHANGE AN EXISTING, KNOWN PIN

TO SET A TEMPORARY PIN
Vou may authorize access by visitors or servlce people with a
temporary 4—diglt PIN. Alter a programmed number or hours or
number at accesses, this temporary PlN expires and vn‘ll no
longer open the door. It can be used to close the door even
after It has expired, To set a temporary PIN:
1. Press the tour buttons tor your personal entry PIN (not the
last temporary PIN), then press and hold the =i= button.
The opener light will bllnk three times. Release the button.
2. Press the temporary 4-digit PIN you have chosen, then press
ENTER.

3. To set the number of hours this temporary PIN will work,
press the number ol hours (up to 255), then press *.
OR
3. To set the number of times this temporary PIN will work,
press me number of times (up to 255). then press it,
The opener light will blink once when the temporary PIN has
been learned
Test by pressing the tour buttons for the temporary PIN. then
press Enter. The door should move. It the temporary PIN was
set to a certain number oi openings. remember that the test has
used up one opening. To clear the temporary password. repeat
steps 1-3, setting the number at hours or times to 0 In step 3.
SPECIAL NO TE: The temporary password can ONLY be
programmed to keypads working on a Chamberlain or
LiftMasrer Garage Door Opener. It WILL NOT work on
keypeds programmed to an external receiver,

2. Remove the compartment cover to access the bottom
mounting hole, Sllde the cover down to remove. Remove
batteries,
3. Center the template on selected location. Mark the top
centerline screw location and drill 1/3' pilot hole, Install top
mounting swew, allowing 1/8" to protmde above surlace.
Position keypad on screw head and adiust tor snug fit. Drill
1/3" pilot hole tor the bottom mounting screw. Complete
Installation With bottom screw, using care to avoid cracking
plastic housing. Do not overtlghten.
Reinstall batteries and replace the compartment covert To
replace compartment oover Insert the tip at the top and snap
it into place.
