A.Foreword
The user is cautioned that changes or modifications not expressly approved by Chaney
Instruments Co. could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
15.105:
For a Class B digital device or peripheral, the instructions furnished the user shall include the
following or similar statement, placed in a prominent location in the text of the manual:
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital
device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment
generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If
this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
—Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
—Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
—Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is
connected.
—Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any
interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

c. The system will transmit the temperature 4 times per hour. (Transmit time
space: 15 minutes. They are circularly transmitted within one second)
d. Temperature alarm function:
A red LED and LCD will flash in the receiver when temperature
range over 104`F and it will display “- - - “when the temperature
range is outside 80- 120`F.

Operation
a.
When power on the receiver, its LCD will fully display as the below figure,
then the LCD will display as next figure.
b.
The time code will be preset in the factory and exit factory by pair which
is matched the time code.
c.
Customer can register the new time code by pressing the rest key on the
back side of the receiver .(need to screw out the screw to access the reset
key) The receiver will clear the old time code and keep it in learning
mode to learn the new time code from a transmitter once the reset key is
pressed. The learning process should be by placing a pair in a shielded
box or by keeping the pair far away from any other sets in order to avoid
any interference from any other pairs of receivers and transmitters.
d. The learning process takes 15 minutes to learn the time code for the
handshake.

Transmitter sends the data every 15 minutes.
f.
The LCD of the receiver will display “-E-“ when the receiver cannot
receive any signal for more than 8 consecutive times.
