Cyber Voyager Twin Pro(RF-2200U) Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Statement This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. User’s Guide Introduction Thank you for choosing Rockfire Cyber Voyager Twin Pro (RF-2200u). This stylish Cyber Voyager Twin Pro is an advanced game control system designed with full ergonomics and equipped with well-positioned buttons to ensure your game play comfort. Moreover it is built with innovative 27MHz RF (Radio Frequency) technology for wireless control while playing games. This user’s guide and the accompanying game devices are intended for use under Microsoft Windows/ OS. Package Contents Your Rockfire Cyber Voyager Twin Pro package comes with the following items: Rockfire USB Cyber Voyager Twin Pro (gamepad+ joystick)* Rockfire USB Cyber Voyager Twin Pro Receiver (USB interface) User’s Guide x1* x1* System Requirement 1) IBM PC (586/Pentium II compatibles or higher) 2) Available USB port or extension USB hub 3) Microsoft Windows® 98/2000/ME/XP Easy Installation 1. Turn on your PC. 2. Install batteries in your Cyber Voyager Twin Pro gamepad and joystick 3. Plug-in your Cyber Voyager Twin Pro USB connector (receiver) to the USB Port of your PC and make sure it is firmly connected. Then the LED indicator of the receiver is always "ON" when it have been connected. USB non-connecting USB connecting 4. After your Cyber Voyager Twin Pro is connected, the monitor will shows “Find a new hardware”, and the OS Standard USB driver will be located for you to finish the installation step by step immediately. 5. The game device provides two separate channels (CH.1 and CH.2). To avoid the interference when playing games. Please set the ID for the gamepad & joystick and make sure they are using different channels. 6. In the end, you may start to calibrate (refer to CH 5-1) this device, and then customize your gamepad through the game controller to access directly into the game software for game play. 7. Operation Reference & Characteristic 5-1 Calibrating To calibrate the gamepad and joystick will make sure game play more smoothly and correctly. So you have to enter the Game Controllers page (Start \ Setting \ Control Panel \ Game Controllers or Joysticks) and select "General/ content" page to calibrate and test the devices. If the cursor is not in the center of the area, you have to follow the calibrating process step by step. After finishing calibrating, then you can play game software. 5-2 ID setting (Channel Selection) Generally speaking, you can play games without ID setting. But if you use other wireless devides (or you play with two Cyber Voyager Twin Pros ) in your PC. To avoid the interference when playing games, please set the ID first. ID setting : Press the button under the receiver and don't let it go until press any buttons of the gamepad and joystick. And let the gamepad and joystick using different channels. Then check the LED indicator of the receiver is becoming green. If yes, then you had finished the ID setting. ID non-setting ID setting ID cancel : Press the button under the receiver, then the LED indicator of the receive will turn off (green to off). That means the ID setting be canceled. 5-3 The characteristic of Gamepad 1. Directional Pad (D-Pad) This Rockfire USB Cyber Voyager Twin Pro gamepad is equipped with the ultra sensitive directional pad, which offers precise centering and 360-degree movement for your instant maneuver in gaming. 3. Quick-Response Action Triggers There are 2 action triggers positioned at the front of this gamepad, these triggers provide you perfect efficiency in game control. You may program these triggers through the game software. 4. Functioning Buttons There are 10 independent functioning buttons equipped on the up side of gamepad control panel. Such button numbers are sufficient enough for you to control the pop games. You may customize these buttons as different movements, acts or weapons control through the game software to approach the best gaming performance. 5. Gamepad LED indicator After you installing the batteries (2 AAA), the LED indicator on the gamepad will be on when you pull any buttons or D-pad. 6. Channel Selector There are two channels selected for gamepad or joystick. If the gamepad is set at channel 1, the joystick should be set at channel 2. Contrarily, if the gamepad is set at channel 2, the joystick should be set at channel 1. 5-4 The characteristic of Joystick 1. 3D Ergonomic Handgrip with Rudder Function This joystick is equipped with the 3D ergonomic handgrip, which offers 360-degree auto centering movement and the precise hand-twist rudder control for your instant maneuver in gaming. 2. Hat Switch (View Finder) The realistic 8-way coolie hat switch can be set as a view finder and allow you to view your surroundings from your aircraft’s cockpit in the flight simulation games. Or you may set it as the weapon control system for efficient control to category weapons in flight missions. 3. Rotary Throttle This centralized throttle has standard momentum function, which is required by flight simulation games. You may accelerate or slow down the aircraft speed by rotating this switch for efficient maneuver control. 4. Functioning Buttons There are 8 independent functioning buttons equipped on this powerful game control system. The functions of A (The fire trigger), B, C, D, E & F (Function buttons in the handgrip) and G & H (Function buttons at the base) are all game dependent. Refer to the game manual for the best use for these buttons, and such numbers of button is sufficient enough for you to control pop games. 5. Channel Selector There are two channels selected for gamepad or joystick. If the gamepad is set at channel 1, the joystick should be set at channel 2. Contrarily, if the gamepad is set at channel 2, the joystick should be set at channel 1. 5-5 The characteristic of Receiver 1.There are three LED indicators on the receiver. One is the power LED and always "ON" when it have been connected. The other two LED indicators are represent the gamepad and joystick. 2.The LED indicator of the gamepad and joystick will only flash when any buttons or D-pad is pushed or pressed. 3. Please refer to the LED Indicators of Receiver as below: LED Mode (color) Power LED RED Devices LED USB connector plug-in, the LED is always RED With signal ID Non-setting DARK Without signal ORANGE With signal ID Setting GREEN Without signal Importance & Attention 1. Operating distance—The ‘’Cyber Voyager Twin Pro’’ guarantee 1.5 meter operating distance(even to 2 meter), but when the battery low the wireless operating distance will shorten. 2. There will be shown two controllers every time when Cyber Voyager Twin Pro is properly plugged into your PC. Ensure the ID in control panel is “Controller 1 (2 axis, 12 buttons controller) ” & "Controller 2 (4 axis, 8 buttons controller) " , if it is properly plugged but does not work or only shown one controller. * Note for user: If it seems does not work, please enter the Game Controllers page (Start \ Setting \ Control Panel \ Game Controllers or Joysticks) and select "General" page to check the status. If there is only one controller or no controller on this page, please remove it from the Game Controller page. Subsequently re-plug the Cyber Voyager Twin Pro and complete the calibration procedure, then it will work as usual. 3. Not every game requires all functioning buttons on your Rockfire Cyber Voyager Twin Pro. If you find some buttons do not work inside the game, please check the software game setting manual. The function of the gamepad buttons may vary in different games. Before proceed with game playing, please check from the ‘’OPTION’’ manual inside the game, and always read your game manual carefully to approach the best game setting. 4. Your Rockfire Cyber Voyager Twin Pro needs little care and services. You may clean it with a damp cloth periodically. Do not use abrasive cleaners of any type and do not spray liquid cleaners directly on your gamepad.
