OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Remote control (M) functions: 1. Fan speed control button: To control the ceiling fan speed 1-6 2. Fan off button: To turn the fan off. 3. Reverse function button: To control fan direction. 4. Lighting control button: To control light on and off. 5. CODE setting button: With fan power off, arrange code switched to desired code setting. Turn fan power on. Note: Install the 12-volt battery (not included) to the remote control. Note: The receiver (inside the motor) provides the function of multiplicative protection. 1. Lock position: The DC motor has a built—in safety feature against obstruction during operation. If this occurs, the motor will discontinue operation within 3 seconds of interruption. To reset, simply disable power supply to the fan motor and re-start. 2. Over 80W protection: When the receiver detects power consumption is greater the Bow, the receiver power will be stopped and operation will immediately discontinue. To reset, simply disable power supply to the fan motor and re-start. 3. Blade setup of motor is arranged according to loading condition; please only install approved blades from a certified dealer or this may void the factory warranty. 14 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS A WARNING: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. 2. Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. 3. Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. 4. Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
