Locate the screw on the battery compartment at the bottom rear of the handset. (FIG 1) 2.  Unscrew the battery cover using a cross head screwdriver. (FIG 1) 3.   Remove  the battery cover.  (FIG 1) 4.  Insert the batteries according to the polarity shown. (FIG 2) Ensure you have installed batteries  correctly in all devices. Clear a flat area larger than 2M x 1M. Recommended for use by children over 6 years old. This product operates on 2.4GHz CHAMPIONSHIP CUSTOM MODE  Toggle from 10 t0 100 laps then pull trigger to confirm. A   Join as a COMPETITOR or PACE CAR at stages where these symbols  are shown.  JOIN AS A COMPETITOR frequency. Please retain this information for future  reference. Adult supervision required.  Battery Information: • Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. • Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. • The supply  terminals are not to be short-circuited. “Custom.
