1) Before each flight, and especially when first out of the box, take time to ensure wings and tail fins are straight and symmetrical. If not,
gently bend the foam body back in to shape. Fine adjustments can also be made with the Tail Flaps. To fly in a smaller area, gently
bend both tail flaps upward along the fold line.
2) Press the power switch on the CyberDactyl to turn ON, a red light will illuminate on the underside of the CyberDactyl’s
body. Push the power switch of the remote control to ON.
3) To ensure horizontal flying hold the remote control vertically. Push the control trigger fully forward until the
CyberDactyl is moving. Throw the CyberDactyl horizontally along your line of sight.
4) IMPORTANT: Flying the CyberDactyl successfully takes a lot of practice. Key is that when the CyberDactyl is
initially launched and it moves to one side, adjust the Direction controller in direction to keep the CyberDactyl flying
straight. After climbing to a height of around 10m, reduce the throttle to about half power for smooth level flight.
Keep movements of the throttle smooth and gradual, to prevent stalls or dives.
5) When launching the CyberDactyl, make sure that it is facing a slight breeze and flying horizontally.
6) Do not throw the CyberDactyl vertically upwards as it may fall immediately back down and become damaged.
7) If the angle of elevation is too steep, reduce the speed by easing off the throttle. Alternatively, if the CyberDactyl
nose-dives, increase its speed by pushing up the throttle more.
8) Again, flying is not easy, but after practice is great fun!
Choosing the Right Venue and Weather
1) Choose a spacious, obstacle-free area when operating indoors, ensure that the device is operating away from
electronic fans and air conditioners as these may affect air flow.
2) Choose a fine, calm day. It is not recommended to fly the CyberDactyl in winds over 5mph.
3) Power consumption will increase when operating in strong winds, which can also affect control of the
CyberDactyl and may result in damage.
4) Operation away from crowds, ponds, residential buildings and trees is recommended.
5) Do not operate in the rain or snow or near to any high voltage cables.
Safe Usage and Maintenance
1) If not in use for a long time, remove batteries from the controller.
2) Ensure that the device is placed away from heat sources.
3) Do not place in water as this may cause short circuit of the circuit board.
4) Do not expose the CyberDactyl to extreme temperatures.
5) Always keep the CyberDactyl clean, use a damp cloth to clean, followed by a dry cloth to wipe water away.
Never use chemicals to clean the product.
6) Long operation time may generate high heat levels causing wear and tear. To extend product life, operators
are recommended to allow a 10-15 minute cool down period before recharging batteries.
7) Keep this instruction manual for future use.
Performance Adjustments:
1. If the Cyberdactyl™ cannot turn left / dives when turning right:
Bend the right tail flap up slightly. [R]
2. If the Cyberdactyl™ cannot turn right / dives when turning left:

[R][L]
Please Note:
Power transfer from the handset controller to the CyberDactyl may be intermittent within a distance of 2 metres, this will
not affect flight performance in any way. When testing the CyberDactyl’s function it is best if one person holds the
CyberDactyl and stands at least 2 metres from the person holding the handset controls.
