Introduction The DS-20 Door/Window Sensor detects the open/close status of a door or window being protected. It can be installed on a door/door frame, window/window frame or any other object that can be opened/closed and needs detection. Pairing to the K1 Hub The sensor needs to be paired to the K1 Hub first before use. To pair the sensor, please refer to the K1 Hub’s user manual or press the “+” button and follow the instructions on the Accessories Page of “smanos home” app. Transmitter Magnet Slide to Open LED Indicator Blinks once: Transmitter and Magnet were separated and sends alarm signal to the K1 Hub. Blinks once per 3 seconds: Low battery; please change the battery as soon as possible. Tampering Switch Anti-tampering protection ensures that any attempts to move the battery cover results in an alarm and push notification. Installation There are aligning marks on the sides of the transmitter and magnet; make sure the marks face each other and within the range of 1 cm (0.4”). Specifications Place the sensor near the location that needs protection. Set the K1 system to Test Mode, and then trigger the Door Sensor by separating the Magnet and Transmitter. The K1 Hub will sound 3 beeps to confirm the connection and range with K1 Hub is good. Then start to install the sensor with the supplied double-sided tapes.
