2Part 1 QUICKGUIDEPREPARATION■TURN ON/OFF THE DEVICE•Turn On: Press the “power button” for 3 seconds, then the system willstart loading and the Home screen will appear.•Turn Off: Press the “power button” for 3 seconds and the power-off optionwill appear.OPERATING YOUR DEVICE■ BATTERY•Before using the device, you must fully charge the battery using theoriginal adapter provided in the box.•Note:•When your battery is low, the device will prompt a warning and display alow battery message, the battery level shown on the battery icon will appearlow or empty. If the battery level becomes too low the device willautomatically shut down. Recharge your battery to continue using yourdevice.•If the battery is completely empty, you will not be able to turn on thedevice, even with the adapter connected to the power source. In thiscase, allow the battery to charge for a few minutes before turning onthe device.

5■ ACCESS APPLICATIONS•Select “ ”on the home screen to access the application list.•Scroll left or right to view all the applications.•Select your desired application.•Notes:•You must have a Google account to be able to use/download theapplications that are provided by Google. So, Sign up for a Googleaccount if you don’t already have an account.•You can add a shortcut to an application by tapping and holding yourdesired application. You can move and place the icon on the locationyou prefer on the home screen.■ CUSTOMIZING HOME SCREEN ITEMS•The home screen includes a customizable favorite’s tray which allowsyou to drag and drop apps, create shortcuts and folders, and add anyother items for an instant access from the home screen.
6■ CHANGING THE WALLPAPER•Hold your finger on the Homescreen andthen tap on thewallpaper icon to choose a picture as your desktopwallpaper.■ UNLOCKING SCREEN•Un-lock: Once you turn-on your tablet, tap on the unlock icon and slide itacross the screen.•Lock: Press the power button to lock the screen.

10Part 3 TROUBLE SHOOT• Please pay attention to the error/notification messages displayed onyour device.• You may not be able access some features/applications without asubscription or depending on your region/country, so please contact yourservice provider for more details.• If your device’s touch screen is not responding properly, you may try thefollowing:Remove the protective cover from the touch screen as this mayprevent the device from recognizing your inputs.Ensure that your hands are not greasy or wet, so clean and dry whentapping the touch screen.• Restart your device to clear any temporary software bugs.• Ensure that your device software is upgraded to the latest version.• If the touch screen is scratched or damaged, take it to a service center.• When you use your device for a long period or use applications thatrequire more power, your device may feel hot to the touch. This isnormal and should not affect your device’s lifespan or performance.If a connection is not established when you are trying to connect yourdevice to a PC:1. Ensure that the USB cable you are using is compatible withyour device.2. Ensure that you have the proper drivers installed and updatedon your PC.
