USER’S MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
Thanks for your purchasing of the Remote Sensor. The Remote Sensor is used with the Chung’s
433MHz multi-channel In-Out wireless weather station to monitor the temperature and humidity
changes of remote or outdoor sites. Operation is easy and no wire installation is required.
MAIN FEATURES
1. LED INDICATOR
Flashing when the sensor transmitting a reading.
2.CHANNEL SLIDE SWITCH
Designate the channel of the sensor to Channel 1, Channel 2 or Channel 3.
3.RESET BUTTON
Reset all settings to default values
4.°C/°F
Switches between °C/°F.
5.BATTERY COMPARTMENT
Contains 2 AA size batteries.
6.BATTERY DOOR
Covers the battery compartment
7.WALL-MOUNT HOLDER
Support the sensor on wall
8.FOLDING TABLE STAND
For standing the unit on a flat surface
TRANSMITTER:
1. Remove the removable stand and screws the back cover off the transmitter.
2. Insert 2 x AA batteries into the battery compartment. Be sure to insert them the right way round (see
polarity information +/- in the battery compartment).
3.The receiver can receive humidity and temperature data from up to 3 transmitters. Assign the
channel to each transmitter, Channel 1, 2 or 3 respectively by sliding the switch besides the battery
compartment.
4. Press the reset key of the transmitter individually by a pin to confirm the channel setting.
5. Select the temperature unit by sliding the °C/°F switch besides the battery compartment.
NOTE:
1. Once the channel is assigned to a transmitter, you can only change it by removing the batteries
or resetting the unit.
2. Avoid placing the transmitter in direct sunlight, rain or snow.
CHANGE CHANNEL
Once a channel is assigned to a transmitter, you can change it by removing the batteries and repeating
the above procedure, the other way is to select the designated channel and then reset the transmitter.
LOW BATTERY WARNING
When the low battery indicator displays in the sensor, it will show up in the main unit under the
represented channel, replace with 2 new AA batteries at once.
OPERATION
Once batteries are inserted, the transmitter will start transmitting samplings at 60-64 seconds intervals.
The transmitter’s LED are flashing. The temperature unit ℃ / ℉ shows in the receiver is determined by
the setting on the receiver.
THE RESET BUTTON
Refer to the main unit’s manual for further information.
This button is used to reset all settings to default values, when changing the channel or malfunctioning.
Use a blunt wire to hold down the button to reset it.
HOW TO USE THE TABLE STAND OR WALL MOUNTING
The transmitter comes with a wall-mount holder and folding stand. Use either to set up the unit.
CAUTIONS
This unit is engineered to give you years of satisfactory service if you handle it carefully. Follows are a
few cautions:
1. Do not immerse the unit in water.
2. Do not leave disabled battery in the watch for a long time and be sure to replace it with new ones. If
battery fluid leaks out, it may damage movement components.
3. Avoid rough using or dropping the unit.
4. To clean the unit, use a dry soft cloth or a soft cloth moistened in a solution of water and a mild
neutral detergent. Never use solvents (such as benzene, spray cleanser).
5. Always read the user’s manual thoroughly before operating the unit.
