1The multifunctional weather station is equipped with manyfunctions providing thorough weather information to you.The receiver unit has a clear, easy-to-read display thatshows the weather forecast, minimum/maximum indoor andoutdoor temperature,moon phase, as well as the time anddate. It is able to receive and display readings from theremote sensors.The 433 MHz technology means no wire installation isrequired and you can place the sensors anywhere you like.With radio controlled function, the current time and date areautomatically synchronized with the time signal transmittedfrom Germany (DCF77) / UK (MSF) / USA (WWVB) (It dependson which version you purchase). The signal can cover adistance of about 1500 km from the related transmitter.and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installedand used in accordance with the instructions, may causeharmful interference to radio communications.However, there is no guarantee that interference will notoccur in a particular installation. TABLE STAND:- Use it to stand the clock on the desktop.TRANSMITTER:1. LED indicator:- Flashes when the remote unit transmits a reading.2. To fix the table stand, push it into the knob inside.4. When you want to fix the receiver on the wall, you cando the opposite operation to put back the table stand of it.

Avoid placing the transmitter in direct sunlight, rain or snow.BATTERY REPLACEMENTWhen the LCD becomes dim, replace with 3 AA size batteriesat once; while if the low battery indicator “      ” displays in theOutdoor Temperature window, it indicates that the batterypower of the transmitter is not enough, and you shouldreplace with 2 AA size batteries at once.NOTE:Attention! Please dispose of used unit or batteries in anecologically safe manner.USING THE TABLE STAND OR WALL-MOUNTING STANDThe transmitter and receiver have both the desktop andwall-mounting structures.For the transmitter, fix the separatewall-mounting stand outside in the area protected from directrain by the screw. Once the stand is mounted, place theTransmitter’s low battery indicator(shows on the main unit)

Make sure you insert thebatteries the right way according to the polarityinformation marked on the battery compartment.2. Close the battery door.3. Press the “RESET” key to re-start the clock and it willsynchronize the channels of transmitter automatically.NOTE:1. The building material and the position of the receiverand transmitter affect the effective range. So try variouslocations to obtain the best result.2. Place the units away from metal objects and electricalappliances to minimize the interference. Position thereceiver and transmitter within the effectivetransmission range: 30 meters in usual circumstances.ABOUT THE WEATHER INDICATORThe built-in barometer can notice atmospheric pressurechanges. Based on the data collected, it can predict theweather conditions in the forthcoming 12-24 hours.3. After several trials in vain, please reset the clockthoroughly. Try out where your multifunctional alarmclock receives the signals best.CHECKING AND DELETING MAX. /MIN. TEMPERATUREREOCRDS1. Press the “MAX/MIN” key once to check the maximumtemperature record. Press it twice to check theminimum record. Press it again to exit.2. Press and hold the “MAX/MIN” key for 3 seconds todelete the maximum and minimum temperature records.ABOUT THE MOON PHASE:The unit has 8 different moon phases. 813NOTE:1. The accuracy of a general pressure-based weatherforecast is about 70% to 75%.2. The weather forecast is meant for next 12 to 24 hours.It may not necessarily reflect the current situation.3. The “Sunny” icon can only appear from 6 AM to 8 PM;while if the weather is Cloudy/Rainy/Stormy during thisperiod, the “Sunny” icon may not appear.4. The “Moon phase & Star” icon can only appear from 8PM to 6 AM; while if the weather is Cloudy/Rainy/Stormyduring this period, it may not appear either.5. The “Rainy” and “Stormy” icons are different only in thedropping frequency of the rain. The rain droppingfrequency in the “Stormy” icon is faster than that in the“Rainy” icon.6. The “Snowy” weather forecast is not based on theatmosphere pressure, but based on the outdoortemperature. When the outdoor temperature is below-3°C, the “Snowy” weather indicator will display on the LCD.4. Pressing the “SNOOZE / LIGHT” key can stop thecurrent alarm and enter the Snooze mode; whilepressing the “ALARM” key can not only stop the alarmbut also turn off the Snooze function.VIEWING THE CHANNELThe default channel is Channel 1. In normal time mode,press the “UP” key to view the channel from 1 to 3.HOW TO READ INDOOR AND OUTDOOR TEMPERATURERECORDSChange the temperature unit to °C for Celsius or °F forFahrenheit by pressing the “°C/°F” key.If the readings go above or below the operating range, thereceiver will keep showing the last record within theoperation range.NOTE:1. If no signals are received or the transmission isinterfered, “---” will appear on the LCD.2. RECEPTION OF RADIO CONTROLLED TIME SIGNALThe time and date are radio-controlled. The current timeand date are automatically synchronized with the time signaltransmitted from Germany (DCF 77) / UK (MSF) / USA (WWVB)provided the device is within about 1500 km range of thetransmitter.When used for the first time (after inserting the batteries orpressing the “RESET” key), the clock starts receiving thetime signals and the reception display flashes.SIGNAL QUALITY INDICATORIf the signal indicator flashes once in one second, itindicates that the signal quality is poor; while if the signalindicator flashes twice in one second, it means that thesignal quality is strong.NOTE:1. The unit will automatically search for the time signal at2:00, 8:00, 14:00 and 20:00 each day.2. Always place the unit away from interfering sourcessuch as TV set, computer, etc.3. Avoid placing the unit on or next to metal plates.4. Closed areas such as airport, basement, tower blockor factory are not recommended.ALARM AND SNOOZE SETTING1. In normal time mode, press the “ALARM” key to enterthe alarm time mode.2. In alarm time mode, press the “UP” key to turn on theAlarm and Snooze with the bell icon “    ” and snoozeicon “      ” displayed together on the LCD.3. In alarm time mode, press and hold the “ALARM” keyfor 2 seconds to enter the alarm time setting modeuntil the HOUR digit flashes.4. Press the “UP” or  “DOWN” key to change the value ofthe flashing HOUR digit.5. Repeat the above operation to set the alarm Minute.6. After you complete all settings, press the “ALARM” key toexit the setting mode, or let it exit automatically 30 secondslater without pressing any key.NOTE:1. The alarm will be automatically turned on when settingthe alarm time.2. Once the Snooze is turned on, the 4-step crescendoalarm will sound 4 times in 5-minute interval. The alarmduration is 60 seconds.3. When the alarm is sounding, the backlight will be onfor 5 seconds.12 9
5. Do not start reception on moving articles such asvehicles or trains.DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME (DST)The clock has been programmed automatically to switchwhen the daylight savings time is in effect. Your clock willshow “DST” during the summer.TIME ZONE SETTING (WWVB version only)The default time zone is PACIFIC time zone. If your locationis not in the Pacific time zone, set the time zone as follows:1. In normal time mode, press the “ALARM” key to enterthe alarm time mode.2. In alarm time mode, press the “DOWN” key to selectthe proper time zone: P=Pacific  M=Mountain  C=CentralE=Eastern3. After you complete the setting, press the “TIME” key toexit the setting mode, or let it exit automatically 30seconds later without pressing any key.MANUAL TIME AND CALENDAR SETTINGIf you are out of the reach of the Radio Controlled Transmitteror if the reception is not reachable, the time can be setmanually. As soon as the signal of transmitter is received again,the clock will automatically synchronize with the exact time.1. In normal time mode, press and hold the “TIME” keyfor 2 seconds until the HOUR digit flashes.2. Press the “UP” or “DOWN” key to change the value ofthe flashing HOUR digit.3. Repeat the above operation to set the time and calendarin this order: Hour > Minute > Second > 12/24 Hr > Year >Month > Date > Day language.4. The 5 languages weekday settings are representedby the below abbreviations: GB= English  FR= FrenchDE=German  ES= Spanish  IT= Italian5.
