Users are not permitted to make changes or modify the devices in any way.  Changes or modifications are not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Mute & Status indicator    Led          Start To Use BTC-01 With the buit-in charger connected to your car’s power outlet, your BTC-01 is automatically ready to use the moment you ignition.

Proprietary and Confidential 6 Turning the BTC-01 on and off If you want to turn the BTC-01 on, please press the volume button, at the same time, you hear a hint sounds “ti-ti-”. To turn the BTC-01 off, please press and hold the volume button for 2~3 seconds till you hear 3 hint sounds “ti-ti-ti-”.  Pairing your BTC-01 and phone Before you can use your BTC-01, you must pair it with a device, for example, a Bluetooth mobile phone. Mobile and BTC-01 can communicate as they are turned on and within range of the phone up to 10 m (30 ft) outdoors or up to 5 m (15 ft) indoors with no solid objects in between.  1. Pairing with the BTC-01 and phone in close proximity. 2. When BTC-01 is on, press the volume button once to put it into pairing mode. At the same time, you hear 4 hint sounds “ti-ti-ti-ti-” to inform you are in pairing mode now and the BTC-01 indicator led illuminates. If you want to cancel pairing, press volume button once.    Note. BTC-01 will automatically initiate a paired connection when powered on   and the last used device it was connected to. If you had   paired with other   phone and you want to pair it with another one, please press volume   button once to disconnect the connection.  3. Switching mobile phone into pairing mode to discover BTC-01, for detail on device discovery for your phone, refer to the user guide for the phone. 4. Select the BTC-01 from the discovered devices list and then confirm following the on screen prompts. 5. Following the mobile user manual, entering the headset PIN code: 1234  Paired Link to additional Devices BTC-01 can store pairing information for up to eight different devices equipped with Bluetooth wireless technology. Devices are stored in a paired Device list in memory in chronological order. When an attempt to pair to more than eight devices is made, the oldest paired device is removed from the list.  Any of the eight paired device can initiate a paired connection to the speaker.
   Collex Communication Corp.    Proprietary and Confidential 7 If you want to connect the BTC-01 to another device in the paired device list, you must initiate the connection from that device. Whichever of the eight devices initiates a connection to the speaker afterwards then it becomes the “last used” device.    Note: Some phones request authorization upon each connection, please press   volume button once to disconnect the previous connection.  Controlling BTC-01 Volume During taking, you can adjust the volume from the buttons of headset. To increase the volume•: Press the volume button in the up position repeatedly until you reach the desired volume level, at the same time, you hear a hint sound “ti”. To decrease the volume•: Press the volume button in the down position repeatedly until you reach the desired volume level, at the same time, you hear a hint sound “ti”.   Answering and Rejecting Calls When ringing, press the MFB button once to pick up the call. If you pick up the call from mobile phone, you might need to chat by using mobile and you can’t hear any voice from BTC-01 then you can press the MFB button once to transfer the audio to BTC-01. For terminating a call, press the MFB button once or the hang-up button of mobile phone.  Also, if you want to reject an incoming call, please press the volume button once to reject it.    Note: Some phones do not support all features listed. Please consult your  phone user’s guide.  Using Voice Dialing Please make sure the phone and the BTC-01 are on and within range of each other. Press the MFB once. During this time, you might hear a beep tone in the BTC-01. After the beep, voice dial as you normally would. In order to use voice dialing, you must make sure your mobile phone supports this function.
   Collex Communication Corp.    Proprietary and Confidential 8 Audio Transfer During a call, you can press the volume button once to transfer the sound between mobile phone and BTC-01. If BTC-01 is turned on after a call has been initiated and the sound is on the mobile phone, you can transfer the sound to BTC-01 by pressing the MFB button once.  Last Called Number Redial BTC-01 enables you to do the last phone number redial. If you want to redial the last called number, please press and hold the MFB button about 3~5 seconds.  Mute the BTC-01 microphone BTC-01 enables you to mute the BTC-01 microphone during talking. Therefore, if you want to have private discussion with others, just press the mute button. Once the mute function is on, you will hear a repeated beep tone to remind you that BTC-01 is in the mute mode. Disable the mute function, press mute button once and then you can talk as you as you normally would.  Other Functions You can use call waiting function, please operate its function according the following table. Short Press MFB  End the active call then answer second incoming callAnswer second incoming call and first call is placed on hold Long Press MFB Swap between Two active calls Reject second incoming call Short Press Power End held call Long Press Power  During a call, add second call (3-ways call)    Note: Phone and service plan must support 3-way calling waiting to utilize the   functions associated with these features.
