ENERGY SAVER MODES This section contains information about computer power system, including the AC Adapter, the battery system, recharging the battery, and tips for conserving battery power. The feed system consists of two parts, the AC Adapter and the battery system. The AC Adapter converts AC power from a wall outlet to the DC power required by the computer. Currently, virtually all Tablets incorporate a power-saving mode. To achieve the reduction of energy consumption in tablets, we have established two operation modes, Sleep and Standby, which must be incorporated as required practices in public offices. Then these concepts defined. Standby Mode. The system automatically enters this mode after a period of inactivity, which is set in the dialog box Power System. In standby mode, hardware devices, such as display panel and hard disk, are turned off to conserve power. Inactivity. Defined as the time period in which the computer or monitor receives no input signal activation. In the computer these signals are given by peripheral input device, for example, keyboard, mouse movements, etc.) Hibernate Suspend. In this mode, all system data are saved on the hard disk before powering down. When this mode is activated, all system state and contents are saved to the hard drive after a period of inactivity defined by the user. No power or very little power is drawn from the battery module in this mode. Copyright © 2016 Compumax Computer S.A.S. Todos los derechos reservados Bogotá Colombia 16 Tablet Blue TW 10 Series However, depending on the amount of RAM that has been installed on your Tablet, the amount of time the system requires to restore all its previous contents can range from five to 20 seconds. Power button action. The Tablet power button can be set to turn off the system or activate the suspend mode under an environment of operating systems. Sleep mode (sleep). Defined as the state of derating used by the computer or monitor after entering or moving to a period of inactivity (To monitor these signals are given by the computer). In practice, the computer keeps on consuming less energy and with the monitor in black. This mode is deactivated when it receives a signal from the mouse or keyboard. Standby mode (off). Defined as a state of "off" on tablets energy consumption (passive power) as still connected to the mains. In practice the tablet is off, but consumes very little power. It has two modes, one in which all programs are closed and relight the tablets returns zero and the hibernation state in which is stored on the hard disk the current state of Windows, that is, when you turn on the tablet again It lights up with programs and windows that were active. To activate these energy saving modes follow the instructions presented below. If you cannot do this, ask your network administrator computer that you configure this mode. Remember that there are several combinations for configuration and energy saving, select the one best suits you. The Power System Battery. Before using the computer on battery 1st time, check the status icon battery in the Toolbar Windows or Linux to make sure the battery is fully charged. See Battery Status later in this section for a description and explanation of the Windows Battery icon. Charging the battery takes about 2.5 hours when the system is off. If possible, always charge the battery completely. NOTE: If you use the battery so frequently that it exceeds more than 20 times with download / upload completely in one month, we recommend performing the process "Battery Calibration" every 3 months to maintain battery life. Automatic battery charging. To charge the battery when it is in the tablets, plug the AC adapter into the computer and an electrical outlet. The charging time is approximately 3-4 hours when the Tablet is turned off and approximately 6 to 7 hours is on. When the battery is fully charged, the charge indicator turns off the battery. NOTE: If the system works with high load or high ambient temperature, the battery cannot charge fully. It is necessary to continue to charge it with the AC adapter plugged in until the charging LED turns off. Copyright © 2016 Compumax Computer S.A.S.
