Operation Guide for CNAD3.0 CDMA Module
1. Product Overview
CNAD3.0 is a CDMA module for use within automotive environment to provide wireless connectivity within a
vehicle. The module will be integrated into a telematics device, which will be installed into a commercial vehicle
during the car factory assembly process. The device has no user interface and will not be assessable without special
tools.
2. Device Installation and User Manual
The CNAD3.0 module is a proprietary product designed and manufactured by Temic Automotive North America,
brand name Continental, for use by an automotive OEM. Because the CNAD3.0 is not intended for sale as a standalone device or offered for sale to general public, the user’s manual and sales brochure are not applicable to this
product.
3. FCC Note
This device complies with Part 22 and 24 of the FCC Rules. The FCC ID for this device is LHJCNAD30. Operation
is subject to the following two conditions:
1. This device may not cause harmful interference.
2. This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Changes or modifications to this system by other than an authorized service facility could void authorization to use
this equipment.
The device must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20cm from all persons and must not be colocated or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
