INSTALLATION (CON )
Wall Mounting
The GH3012 may be mounted on a wait phone plate or onto two suews (not included)
that you lasten to the wall. For either type at installation, complete the tollowing steps
first,
1. in case cl using the standard wall plate, this step is not necessary.
Place the Desk/Wall bracket on the wall and mark the location at the screws. install
the screws leaving 3/15~ extending out item the wall. Lise anchors to seem
screws.
2. To connect the Desk/Wall bracket in the wall mount positron, simply algn the
bracket with the slots on the base until it is securely in place.
3. Insert lhe AC adapter into the back ol the unit.
4. Plug one end 01 the telephone line card inlo (he TEL LINE jack on (he Ease uni,
5. Thread (he adaptor cord and telephone line card through (he grooves in the back
ml the unit. The cord will exit (ram (he bmmm.
DO NOT CONNECT THE AC ADAPTOR TO THE WALL POWER OUTLET YET.
6. Plug the other end of the line card into lhe wall jack.
7. Mount the phone on the wallplale studs or on the screws as in step 1, and press
until the unit locks in place.

INSTALLATION (CON )
Handset Battery Charging:
The battery pack in the handset must be lully charged tor about 10-14 hours belore
using the telephone,
After connecting to AC power, leave the handset unused in the cradle tor ten to
lotneen hours. Later. it will take less time tor the battery to recharge. The IN
USE/CHARGE LED on the base will be lit when the handset is in the cradle.
NOTE:
at When the battery gets low, the LCD display will show "BATTERY LOW", and the
untt wit beep every 10 seconds.
b. it the battery becomes low while you are on a call, you will be disconnected after

base and allow it to fully charge tor 12 hours. it this process is completed monthly, it
wit reduce the memory buildup that occurs trom trequent partial charging.

Memory Feature
Your GH3012 is equipped with 10
memories ror programming your most
rrequently dialed telephone numbers.
You can store up to 15 digits in each or
the memory locations 0 through 9 by
lollowing the steps outlined.
A record or rhe numbers to be speed-
dialed may be kept on the memory index
chan on page 24 in this manual.

To Program Frequently Called
Numbers
1. Pick up the handset. DO NOT
PRESS TALK button.
2. Press the MEM button: the LCD
display will show the number stored in
MEM 0 (zero).
3. Press "A” or “V” humus in select an
available Iowicln.
4. Dlal phone number (up (0 16 digits).
Each TONE (‘) entered uses one Of the
available digits. ll you pause more ttran
20 seconds in programming, the unit will
exit the memory programming. it you
accidentally press a 17th digit. 3 enor
tones will sound, press DEL button to
erase digits or press CH button to exit.
4. Press the MEM button again. the
LCD dlsplay will show "LOCATION ? x"
where "x” is the location you selected.
5. Press MEM buuon again to confirm.
The LCD display will show "MEM x
STORED" to confirm the number has been
sucoesslully stored in memory.
NOTE: Press CH button at any time to
exit memory programming.

Receiving Call Waiting Caller ID
When you are on an existing phone call,
your GH3012 will display incoming call
waiting Caller ID intormation.

2. When you access the call waiting
call. the Caller ID information will
disappear and the Time/Day sueen will
be dwtayed.
IMPORTANT:
You must subscribe to Call Waiting and
Call Waiting Caller ID service trom your
local telephone company in order to
receive Call Waiting Caller ID
information.
Reviewing New Call Records
1. When Time/Dale screen is
displayed. pressing the “A" or "v"
bulmn will display me inlonnzlinn lor the
last new call recewed.
2. Continue pressing “A” or "v"
button ln review all new call records in
the Order the calls were received.
When a name received exceeds 12
characters. the first 12 characters will be
shown llrst with "V" showing on the right
hand side. Press the ”V” button to view
