This manual is available on our website www.psion.com through the Teknet extranet   Easily installable expansion modules for the WORKABOUT PRO 3 allow you to customise this hand-held to meet your specific mobile computing requirements. This chapter outlines how to install the SAM.  Before installing SAM in the WORKABOUT PRO 3, all power sources must be turned off.  •  Remove the batteries. If your unit is using AC power, disconnect it. •  Slide the switch to position OFF to shut off internal battery power.    With the power shut down, you can install the SAM. MORPHOCHECK 2 250  •  Unscrew the screws to remove the 2D Imager.              MORPHOCHECK 2 300  •  Unscrew the screws to remove the OCR Reader. April 26, 2011 DPD 110052 A00    Sheet 3 of 6  •  Open the SAM connectors.                •  Put the SAM in the slots.    •  Close the SAM connectors.    •  Replace and screw the back plate, the 2D Imager or  the OCR reader (don’t forget to  clean  the OCR windows before).           •  Slide the switch to the position ON to turn power back on. •  Replace the end-cap and battery.
