Read Operating Instructions
Please become familiar with all the instructions and
warnings before operating any pneumatic tool.
Visually inspect tool for damage and loose or missing
parts. If the equipment is worn or shows signs of
damage, remove it from service and contact an
authorized Sears service center for repairs.
Always Wear Approved Eye Protection
Impact resistant eye protection should meet or exceed
the standards set forth in ANSI Z87.1, Occupational and
Educational Eye and Face Protection. Look for marking
Z87.1 on your eye protection to ensure that it is an
approved style.
Hearing Protection is Recommended
Hearing protection should be used when the noise level
exposure equals or exceeds an 8 hour time-weighted
average sound level of 85dBA. Process noise, reflective
surfaces, other tools being operated nearby, all add to the
noise level in a given work area. If you are unable to
determine your noise level exposure, we recommend the
use of hearing protection.
Avoid Prolonged ER3osureto Vibration
Pneumatic tools can vibrate during usa. Prolonged
exposure to vibration or very repetitive hand and arm
movements can cause injury. Discontinue the use of any
tool if you experience tingling, numbness, discomfortor
pain in your hands or arms. You should consultyour
physician before resuming use of tool.
150 PSlG Maximum
This tool is designed to operate at an air pressure of 60
to 150 pounds per square inch gauge pressure (150
PSIG) maximum, at the tool. Use of higher air pressure
can and may cause injury.Also, the use of higher air
pressure placas the internal components under loads
and stresses they were not designed for, which could
cause premature tool failure.
NOTE: THE AIR SUPPLY SHOULD BE CLEAN, DRYAND
PREFERABLY LUBRICATED. FOR BEST RESULTS

DAILY.

The Craftsman Model 875.204840 Continuous Flow
Grease Gun isdesigned for both automotive as well
as heavy industrial usage.
The Craftsman professionalContinuous Flow Grease
Gun Model 875.204840 is designed to operate at 60 to
150 PSI. Lower pressure will reduce the performance
of the tool, while pressure higher than the rated 150
PSI will damage the internal components to the tool.
• Exclusive air piston design assures self priming.
• Fully automatic; cycles continuous grease flow
when the trigger is depressed.
• Heavy duty spring for prime retention.
• High pressure performance with 60 to 150 PSI
generated at the compressor allows the tool to
deliver 2400 to 6000 PSI (40:1 ratio) of pressure
into the desired fitting.
Always use clean dry air. Excessive moisture and dirt
will greatly reduce the life of any air motor. We
recommend the installationof an in-linefilter-regulatorlubricator as close to the tool as possible.
A 3/8" air hose is required up to a length of 8 ft. If
more length is required,a 1/2" air hose shouldbe
connected to the 3/8" hose to ensure the tool has the
necessary air supply.Be sure all hoses and fittings
are the correct size and tightlysecured.
Instructions for the 3 ways to load your grease gun:
1, Cartridge Loading:
A) Remove the canister from the head,
B) Draw the plunger head back completely,
C) Insert the open end of the cartridge into the cannister
of the grease gun. Remove the seal or pull-tab from the
other end of the tube and tightly re-attach the cannister to
the gun head.
D) Press the plunger release valve at the bottom of the
cannister and release the plunger rod and pull down the
plunger handle.
2. Loading with a filler pump:
A) Draw back the plunger handle completely,
B) Insert plug into the filler pump socket, Make sure the
socket is securely fastened to the plug,
C) Operate the grease gun from the filler pump,
D) Disconnect the grease gun from the filler pump,
E) Press the plunger release valve and pull down plunger
handle,
3. Bulk Filling:
A) Remove canister from grease gun head.
B) Draw back the plunger handle completely and bulk fill
grease into empty canister.
C) Re-attach the canister to the gun head and press the
plunger release valve. Pull down the plunger handle and
begin using.

Lubrication
An automatic in-line filter-regulator-lubricator is
recommended as it increases tool life and keeps
the tool in sustained operation. The in-line
lubricator should be regularly checked and filled
with air tool oil. Proper adjustment of the in-line
lubricator is performed by placing a sheet of paper
next to the exhaust ports and holding the throttle
open approximately 30 seconds. The lubricator is
properly set when a light stain of oil collects on the
paper. Excessive amounts of oil should be avoided.
In the event that it becomes necessary to store the
tool for an extended period of time (overnight,
weekend, etc.), it should receive a generous
amount of lubrication at that time. The tool should
be run for approximately 30 seconds to ensure oil
has been evenly distributed throughout the tool.
The tool should be stored in a clean and dry
environment.
Recommended lubricants: Use air tool oil or any
other high grade turbine oil containing moisture
absorbent, rust inhibitors, metal wetting agents and
an EP (extreme pressure) additive.
Check air pressure.

Debe usar protecci6n para los ojos a prueba de
impactos que satisfaga o exceda las normas de la ANSI
Z87.1, de Protecci6n Ocupacional y Educacional para los
Ojos y la Care. Para cerciorarse de que el modelo de
proteccibn ocular que usa es aprobado mire si tiene
marcado Z87.1
Se recomlenda protecclbn audltlva
Cuando el nivel de exposicibn al ruido as igual o excede
un promedio de nivel sonoro de 85dBA durante 8 horas,
debe usarse protecci6n para los oidos. El ruido de un
proceso, las superficies reflectantes y otras
herramientas que se usen cerca de usted, todo se suma
al nivel de ruido an un drea de trabajo dada. Si usted no
puede determinar a qud nivel de ruido estd expuesto, le
recomendamos que use protecci6n auditiva.

Se requiem una manguera neum_.tica de 3/8" y una

mayor Iongitud,la manguera de 3/8" deber_.
extenderse con una de 1/2", a fin de garantizar un
suministrode aire adecuado. Cerci6rese de que todas
las mangueras y unionessean del tamaSoapropiado
y estdn bienaseguradas.
Use siempre aire depurado. El exceso de humedad y
suciedad reducirdn grandemente la vida de cualquier
motor neum&tico. Le recomendamos la instalacibn de un
filtro-regulador-lubricador en IInea Io rods cerca posible
de la herramienta.
Para una Iongitud hasta de 8 pies se necesita una
manguera neum_tica de 3/8". Si fuara necesaria una
Iongitud mayor, ser& necesario conectar una manguera
neumdtica de 1/2" ala de 3/8" para garantizar que la
herramiente tenga el suministro de aire necesario.
Instrucclones
paracadaunadetas 3 formas
en que se
puede cargar la plstola:
1. Carga con cartucho:
A) Quite el recipiente del cabezaL
B) Retraiga totalmente [a cabeza del dmbolo.
C) Inserte el extremo abierto del cartucho en el recipiente
de la pistola. Quite el se[Io del otto extremo y vuelva a
colocar el recipiente sobre el cabezal. Aseg_relo
firmemente.
D) Optima la v_llvulade liberaci6n del dmbolo en el fondo
del recipiente. Libere la varilla y Ileve la manija del
6mbolo hacia adentro.
2. Carga con bomba de Ilenado:
A) Tire la manija del embolo completarnente hacia atr._s.
B) Inserte el conector en el receptdculo de la bomba.
Cerci6rese de que la conexi6n est_ bien asegurada.
C) Opere la pistola desde la bomba de Ilenado.
D) Desconecte la pistola de la bomba.
E) Optima la v_llvulade liberaci6n del 6mbolo y ,eve la
manija del 6mbolo hacia adentro.
3. Carga en volumen:
A) Quite el recipiente del cabezal de la pistola.
B) Tire la manija del 6mbolo completamente hacia atrds
y Ilene de grasa el recipiente vac{o.
C) Vuelva a colocar el recipiente sobre el cabezal y
optima la vdlvula de liberaci6n del 6mbolo. Lleve la
manija del 6mbolo hacia adentro y comience a usar la
unidad.

Lubricacibn
Se recomiendainstatarun filtro-regulador-lubricador
en
Ifnea porque aumenta la vida de su herramientay la
mantienefuncionando pot m_s tiempo. El lubricador
en Ifnea deber=i examinarse regularmentey Ilenarse
con aceite para herramientas neum&ticas.Para
ajustar el lubricadoren Ifnea coloque una hoja de
papel al lado de los orificiosde escape mientras se
mantiene abierto el acelerador por 30 segundos. El
lubricadorestar&correctamentegraduado cuandose
forme una pequeSa mancha de aceite en el papel.
Deben evitarse cantidadesexcesivas de aceite.
En caso que sea necesario almacenar la herramienta
pot un largo peHodode tiempo (de la noche al d[a,
durante el f{n de semana, etc.) deber& ddrsele una
cantidad generosa de lubricante.Se debe hacer
funcionar la herramientaaproximadamentepot 30
segundospara asegurarse de que el aceite se haya
distribufdode manera uniformeportoda la
herramienta.Las herramientasdeben guardarseen un
ambiente limpioy seco.
Lubricantes recomendados:
Use aceite para herramientasneumdticaso cualquier
otto aceite para turbinade alto grado que contenga un
absorbentede humedad, inhibidoresde 6xido,
agentes humectantes met&licosy un aditivo para PE
(presi6nextrema).
