Wash the top of the battery with water to remove any acid, then wipe dry. • Check battery case for leakage to make sure that no damage has occurred in handling. • Dispose of excess battery acid. If adjustment is necessary, proceed as follows: • With engine not running, move throttle control lever to fast ('_) position_ • Check that speed control lever is against stop screw. If it is not loosen casing clamp screw and pull throttle cable until lever is against screw T ghten clamp screw securely.
