Welcome to Cranium Giggle Gear ® ™ Fairy Talkies Talk with friends and send fairy sounds! GET STARTED Assemble the Talkies Get Ready to Play •Take out the charms, headsets, and headbands. • Give a headset and a headband to a friend. •Install one 9-volt battery into one of the headsets. •Attach the headsets to the headbands. •Choose some charms and attach them to the headbands. •Put on the Fairy Talkies, then adjust the microphone in front of your mouth. •Press the heart button on your headset to talk to your friend. •Release the heart button to hear your friend speak. •Press the heart and the flower buttons at the same time to send fairy sounds to your friend. •Now go and make someone giggle. Have fun! To change your headbands, take them off and choose new charms. You can use any Giggle Gear mix-and-match pieces to create even more hilarious combinations. Ask an adult to get a new 9-volt battery and follow these instructions. (9-volt batteries can usually be found in the photo and electronics sections of major retailers, pharmacies, and supermarkets.) 1. Turn your headset over and unscrew the battery cover. 2. Insert the battery as indicated. 3. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw. BATTERY SAFETY • Do not put the battery in backwards. Positive (+) and negative (-) ends must be inserted in the correct directions following the polarity (+/-) diagram in the battery compartment. • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. • Rechargeable batteries must be removed before recharging. • Rechargeable batteries must be recharged by an adult only. • Batteries must be installed and removed by an adult only. WARNING: TO AVOID • Remove exhausted batteries and dispose of them properly. BATTERY LEAKAGE • Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
