1. Controls
Function button
Read/Select button
Function button In Stand-by mode, press the function button for 2 seconds to display
Function Selections, this will show you the different functions available.
Read button pressing the Read button will display an incoming message.
2. Changing the Battery
This device uses one AAA battery.
1) Slide the battery cover out in the direction of the arrow (←)
2) Replace the battery, paying attention to the polarity.
Caution:
Always Power off the pager before replacing the battery; this will prevent loss of
information.
3. Icons

4. Receiving and reading Messages
When a message is received the information is displayed on the screen.
Checking a message: The icon on the upper left of the screen displays the total
number of messages received.
To check your messages, press ▣ (read button).
1) NO INFO will display on the screen when there are no messages.
2) If a page is received, 1 PAGE will display on the screen.
3) Once messages have been read, you can press (read button) repeatedly to display
the following screens:
1st Screen- This displays the receiving time, month, and day. Eg) 12:30A 2-
10
2nd Screen- This displays up to 12 characters of the phone number. If there
are more than 12 characters, this icon will display Eg) 416-453-4864
3rd Screen- If there are more than 12 characters, this screen will show the rest
of the phone number information.
4) If you press the ▣ icon continuously, the following reception message displays.
5) If the memory is full, the icon displays. Then, the oldest message is deleted
when a new message is received and only locked/saved messages will be saved but the
locked message can not be deleted.
REMARK:
If a duplicate message is received, the pager will display icon. The first
message will be deleted and only the new message is displayed.
5. Erase messages
1) In receiving information mode, you can press (function button) once to turn the
display light on. Press it a second time and the pager will ask “Erase?” Press it a
third time to go back to display status without erasing the message.
2) To erase the message, press ▣ (read button).
6. Locking and unlocking messages
Message lock will save a maximum of 10 numbers.
1) In receiving information mode, you can press (function button) once to turn the
display light on. Press the button (function button) continuously until you read
“Lock?” and press once more for “Unlock?”
2) Press (read button) to select eitherLock orUnlock, the message will show
either Locked or Unlocked status. Locked messages will display a lock
icon.
7. Setting vibration/alert/Melody/silent mode
Setting Silent mode
1) Press (function button) for 2 seconds, Set alert? will display. Press (read
button) to choose this option.
2) This displays Sleep without any other icons. At this time, press (function button),
the pager will return to stand-by mode.
3) When the pager receives messages now, they will be in silent mode.
Setting Vibration mode
1) Press (function button) for 2 seconds, Set alert? will display. Press (read
button) to choose this option.
2) Press (read button) once, Motor will display and an icon is also
displayed.
Press (function button) to return the pager to stand-by mode.
3) When the pager receives messages now, it will vibrate.
Setting Tone mode
1) Press (function button) for 2 seconds, Set alert? will display. Press (read
button) to choose this option.
2) Press ▣ (read button) repeatedly until Tone-1 is displayed. You will see the Alert
sound icon displayed.
3) Press ▣ (read button) until you hear the tone.
Press (function button) to return the pager to stand-by mode.
4) When the pager receives messages now, your choice of tone will be used.
Setting Melody mode
1) Press (function button) for 2 seconds, Set alert? will display. Press (read
button) to choose this option.
2) Press ▣ (read button) repeatedly until Melody-1 displays. You will see the
Melody Icon displayed.
3) Press (read button) twice until the desired melody plays, then press (function
button) to return the pager to stand-by mode.
4) When the pager receives messages now, your choice of melody will be used.
8. Turning the power on/off
Turning the pager off
1) Press (function button) for 2 seconds, Set alert? will display.
2) Press (function button) repeatedly until Power off? displays, press (read
button) to choose this option. Once the pager is off, it will stop receiving messages
and will only display the current time on the screen.
Turning on the pager
1) Press (function button) for 2 seconds, all icons and characters will display on the
screen for 2 seconds. Message reception is now powered on.
2) In stand-by mode, the pager will display current time, date and messages received.
9. Delete Messages
Delete all Messages
1) Press (function button) for 2 seconds, Set alert? is displayed.
2) Press (function button) repeatedly until Delete all? displays.
Press ▣ (read button) to choose this option.
3) Sure? No will display on the screen. Select YES, NO by pressing (read
button).
Deleting all messages will not delete Unread messages or Locked messages.
10. Alarm clock setting
This mode is used to set a daily alarm.
1) Press (function button) for 2 seconds, Set alert? displays.
2) Press (function button) repeatedly until Set alarm? displays. Press (read
button) to choose this option.
3) Selects hour, minutes, alarm tone, on/off
Selects time & types of tone changes.
4) After setting your clock, press (function button). The icon displays to
indicate that the alarm has been activated.
11. Time setting
1) Press (function button) for 2 seconds, Set alert? displays.
2) Press (function button) repeatedly until Date-Time? comes. Press (read
button) to choose this option.
3) Selects year, month, date, hour, minutes
Selects year, month, date, time change
4) After setting the time, press (function button).
12. Reminder call setting
1) Press (function button) for 2 seconds, Set alert? displays.
2) Press (function button) repeatedly until Reminder? displays. Then press
(read button) to choose this option.
3) Choose on/off by pressing ▣ (read button).
4) After setting the calls, press (function button), is displayed to show that
a reminder has been set.
13. Language setting
1) Press (function button) for 2 seconds, Set alert? displays.
2) Press (function button) repeatedly until Language? displays. Then press
(read button) to choose this option.
3) With ▣ (read button), you can select the language that you want.
4) After setting the language, press (function button).
14. Other functions
1) Signal indicator: When youre in an area with reception, is displayed.
2) Low battery indicator: When your battery is low, is displayed. The battery
should be changed as soon as possible.
3) Back light: In stand-by status, the display light turns on when you press (function
button).
