DAQRI Smart Glasses | Getting Started Guide Welcome to the DAQRI Family! Open the box and let’s get started. Inside, you'll find the DAQRI Smart Glasses (DSG) and DAQRI Compute Pack (DCP), charged and ready to go. We designed a modular system by shifting the processing and battery to the Compute Pack, allowing the Smart Glasses to remain lightweight yet powerful. This guide will get you started immediately, but go to http://developer.daqri.com to access developer tools and more information that will allow you to build applications for your Smart Glasses. WHAT'S IN THE BOX DAQRI Smart Glasses DAQRI Compute Pack Accessories · USB-C Cable · Cleaning Cloth · USB-C Power Supply and Cable · USB-C Hub · Bluetooth Keyboard and Charging Cable · DSG Padding Inserts Documentation · Getting Started Guide · Health and Safety Warnings TURNING ON DAQRI SMART GLASSES Connect, Power On, Wait. 1. Connect the USB-C cable to the Smart Glasses and the Compute Pack 2. Power On by a single press of the power button on top of the Compute Pack 3. Don’t move the Smart Glasses. Wait until the LED turns Solid White. *In order to fully charge the DAQRI Compute Pack, connect the power supply to a wall outlet. You can use DSG while the DCP is charging if desired. WEARING DAQRI COMPUTE PACK DAQRI Compute Pack already has a clip built-in, making it ready to wear right away. Press the top of the clip to open and attach it to your belt or pocket. Just make sure you keep the vents unblocked to prevent the Compute Pack from getting too hot. WEARING DAQRI SMART GLASSES Tilt and Place, Pull, Drop down. 1. Tilt and Place the back of DAQRI Smart Glasses against the back of your head. 2. Pull DAQRI Smart Glasses until the displays are in front of your head. 3. Drop down DAQRI Smart Glasses in front of your eyes and adjust until you can see a menu screen clearly in the displays. Is it comfortable? DSG should be touching your forehead, not resting on your nose. Is DSG too small for you? DSG has a flush padding insert attached by default, but there are additional padding inserts in the box that you can switch to. Now follow the instructions seen on screen and you’re all set. We can't wait to see what you will create!
