This should restore control. How do I erase previously learned remotecontrol commands? If you have programmed your SurroundBar 5000 to respondto a remote control and you no longer want it to do so, thenyou can erase the codes by pressing the LEARN key for abouttwo seconds while the unit is in standby mode (power LEDis red). In particular, any devices operating in the2.4GHz band may cause intermittent wireless connections between theSurroundBar 5000 speaker and the subwoofer. It is also possible that yourSurroundBar 5000 IHT System may affect other wireless systems. For themost part, you can avoid wireless performance problems by physicallyseparating these devices from your SurroundBar 5000 IHT System.Maintaining a distance of several feet or more between your SurroundBar 5000IHT speaker and any wireless device should prevent any mutual interferenceeffects. If you do notice any subwoofer signal dropouts take care to identifythe root cause (most commonly having other wireless devices too close)and resolve accordingly. Any interference effects from a microwave ovenwill cease once the oven stops operating and may be resolved on a long-termbasis by increasing the physical distance between your SurroundBar 5000 IHTSystem and the microwave oven.A Note Regarding Wireless Performance:WARNING: LISTEN CAREFULLYPolk Audio loudspeakers and subwoofers are capable of playing at extremely high volume levels, which could cause serious or permanent hearing damage.
