Low temperature will affect the lubrication of moving parts inside the
Hi scooter, increasing internal resistance. At the same time, in low
temperatures, the discharge capacity and the capacity itself of the

devices. You must download the Hover-i app in order to change

LUETOOTH SPEAKER
The Hi has powerful built7in wireless speakers so you can play your
music while riding.
PAIRING THE SPEAKER
1. Ensure your H1 is turned off. If it is not, please turn off your Hover-1 first
before pairing.
2. Turn on your Hi and the speakers will annouce that it's waiting fora
Bluetooth" connection. This will indicate your H1 speaker is now in
pairing mode.
3. Place the H1 and the BluetoothD device to which you would like to
pair it within the operating distance. We recommend keeping the two
devices no further than 3 feet apart during pairing.
4. Ensure Bluetooth‘1° is enabled on your phone or music device, Refer
to manufacturer's instructions for how to enable Bluefooth“ on your
device.
5. Once you have activated Bluefooth” on your device, select the
option ”HY7Hi 7Speaker" from the list of available Bluetooth‘a devices.
6. If required. enter the PIN code ""000000 and confirm the entry.
7. Please note. pairing mode on the Hover—i will last for two minutes. If
no devices are paired after two minutes, the Hi speaker will
automatically retum to standby mode.
8. If pairing is unsuccessful. turn off the H1 first and repair following the
aforementioned steps.
NOTE: Once you have paired the Hi speaker with a device. the
speaker will remember this device and will pair automatically when
the device's Bluetooth® is activated and in range. You do not need to
repair any previously connected devices.
Your Hi can pair up to two multi-point devices. You can reconnect a
previously paired device without going through the pairing or PIN
process on up to two devices.
LISTENING TO MUSIC
Once the Hi speakers are paired to your device. you can stream
music wirelessly to them. Select the track you wish to listen to on your
device to listen via the speakers. All volume and track controls will be
made using your music device. Should you encounter any problems
while streaming, please refer to your device's user manual,

Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. the HI scooter features a
water-resistant, wealherized case that protects its components from
splashing water. This ensures that the high7quality tech within the H1 is
protected while riding around outdoors & indoors. or of beaches,
poolside bashes and getting caught in the rain.
NOTE: The Hi scooter should not be subject to prolonged exposure to
water or submerged. Doing so will damage your Hi scooter and
invalidate the manufacturer's warranty.
BEFORE RIDING
It is important that you fully understand all elements of your Hl
scooter. If these elements are not used correctly, you will not have full
control of your Hi, Before you ride. or ride outside of a controlled
environment, learn the functions of the various mechanisms on your
scooter.
Practice using these elements of your H1 at slower speeds in a flat,
open area before taking the device out in public areas.
PRE7RIDE CHECKLIST
Ensure thatyour Hi scooter is in proper working order each and every
time you ride. If a part of the scooter does not function correctly,
please contact our Customer Support Center.

Any H1 that does not work properly can
cause you to lose control and fall, Do

is damaged; replace the damaged
part before riding.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before riding your scooter.

need to recharge the battery every 2 months to maintain the battery
life.

FETY PRECAUTION
The first rule in safe riding is to use common sense. An scooter is
vulnerable; it cannot protect you in a crash. against impact, or loss of
control the way driving a car can. A scooter can tip over sideways or
pitch you over the front wheel. It does not have bumpers or airbags
as a cardoes. This section is a guide of safe riding practices foron and
off7road operation. Make sure you are using your Hi scooter properly.
Different localities and countries have different laws governing riding
on public roads, and you should check with local officials to ensure
you are complying with these lawS.
Hype is not liable for tickets or violations given to riders who do not
follow these regulations.
° For your safety, always wear a helmet that meets CPSC or CE safety
standards. In the event of on accident, a helmet can protect you
from serious injury and in some cases, even death.
- Obey all local traffic laws, Obey red and green lights, one7way
streets, stop signs, pedestrian crosswalks, etc.

before crossing.
Your Hover7l is not equipped with reflectors. If is not recommended
that you ride your bike in conditions of low visibility.
If you are riding your scooter in low7visibility conditions, ensure your
LED lights are turned on. and that you are wearing bright, reflective
clothing.
A WARNING
When you ride In low-visibility conditions
such as fog, dusk, or night. you might be
difficult to see. which could lead to a
collision. In addition to keeping your
headlight on. wear bright. reflective
clothing when riding in poor lighting
conditions.
Think about safety when you ride. You can prevent many accidents
if you think about safety. Below is a helpful checklist for Compact
riders.
SAFETY CHECKLIST
. Do not ride “double" with more than one adult rider on the scooter.
- Avoid riding in large groups, as this can force you to ride too close
to other riders, making it difficult to see other vehicles and road
hazards.
- Do not ride above your skill level. Ensure you have had enough
practice with all functions and features of your Hover7i,

you are moving at a higher speed. small bumps can turn into large
impacts, leading to a higher risk of injury if an accident occurs.
- Do not ride your scooter with any pets.
- If you are in an accident while driving your device. contact

- Before stepping on your device. make sure it is placed flat on level
ground, the power is on, and the Running Indicator light is green. Do
not step on if the Running Indicator is red.
- Do not try to open or modify your device. as doing manufacturer
warranty. and may cause failure to your device leading to serious
bodily injury or death.

- If you and your friend(s) are driving Hi scooters together, be sure to
keep a safe distance between each other to prevent collisions,
property damage, serious injuries or even death.
- Be sure to keep you feel on the pedals at all times. Moving your
feet off your device while driving is dangerous.
~ Do not operate the device while under the influence of drugs
and/0r alcohol. If is dangerous and illegal. You can and will be
arrested for driving under the influence.
- Do not operate the device when you are restless or sleepy.
- Use your bestjudgment to keep yourself out of dangerous situations
with your device.
- Do not ride your device off of curbs, ramps, or attempt to operate
in a skate park, empty pool, or in any way similar to a skateboard or
scooter, The Hi IS NOT A SKATEBOARD.

OPERATING YOUR DEVICE
Make sure the device is fully charged before your initial use, For

Stand directly behind your device and place one foot on the
corresponding foot mat (as described in the diagram below). Keep
all your weight on your back foot still on the ground. otherwise your
device will begin to move, making it difficult to step an evenly with

already placed on the device and step on with your second foot
quickly and evenly (as described in the diagram below).

anxiety or reservation about stepping on may cause you to panic
and trigger unwanted movement.
When you first begin using your device, the fastest way to move in
your desired direction is to focus in that direction. You will notice that
just thinking about which way you would like to go will shift your
center of gravity, and that subtle movement will propel you in that
direction.
Your center of gravity determines which direction you move,
accelerate. decelerate, and come to a complete stop. As
described in the diagram below, tilt your center of gravity in the
direction you wish to move.
To turn, focus on the direction you wish to turn and stay relaxed.

CHARGING THE DEVICE
- Ensure that the charging port is clean and dry.
- Open the charging port on your Hi scooter,
- Make sure that there is no dust, debris or dirt inside the port.
- Plug the charger into a grounded wall outlet.
- Connect the cable with the power supply (100V ~ 240V: 50, 60 Hz),
- Ensure the light on the charger is lit GREEN.
- Align and connect the 31-pin charging cable into the charging port
of the Hi.

Hype‘M offers a 120 day limited warranty covering the hardware of
Hover-1W H1 Electric Scooter [referred to as “Product" here on
out), limited to those residing in the 50 US States and Canada, This
warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have
other rights which vary from state to state.
HypeW warrants the Product to be free from defects in materials
and workmanship under normal use for 120 days, as sold to the
original purchaser. from the date of retail purchase by the original
end-user purchaser. A copy of the sales receipt from the date of
original purchase of the Product will be required for validity. If a
hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the
warranty period, at its option and to the extent permitted bylaw,
Hype‘M will:
(1) repair the hardware defect (free of charge) by using new or
refurbished parts that are equivalent to new in performance and
reliability; or (2) exchange the product (free of charge) with a
product that is new or refurbished, that is substantially equivalent
to the original product if the product sent in cannot be repaired

Dismounting your device can be one of the easiest steps. yet when
done incorrectly, may cause you to fall. To property dismount, from a
stopped position, lift one leg up and set your foot back down on the
ground (STEPPING BACK). Then step off completely as described in

OPERATTNG RANGE
Please notice the Hi can travel a distance up to 12 miles on a fully
charged battery in ideal conditions. The following are some of the
major factors that will affect the operating range of your device,
- Terrain: A smooth, flat surface will increase your driving distance,
while driving uphill, as well as rough or uneven terrain will reduce your
distance significantly.
- Weight: The weight of the user can affect driving distance, a lighter
user will have further range than a heavier user,
- Ambient temperature: Please tide and store the device under
recommended temperatures. which will increase driving distance:
battery life, and overall performance of your device.
- Maintenance: Reasonable battery charging and maintenance will
increase the distance. Overcharging the battery can reduce range.
- Speed and Driving Style: Maintaining a moderate speed will
increase your distance: while traveling at high speeds for extended
periods, frequent starts, stops. idling. along with frequent
acceleration and deceleration will reduce your overall distance.
If the scooter is found to be unbalanced. you can follow the below
steps to calibrate it.
- In order for the balance calibration system to work properly. please
place the scooter on a flat horizontal surface.
- Press and hold the ON/OFF button for at least 5 seconds until the
scooter buzzes.
- The LED light on the deck will begin flashing red.
- The red LED light on the deck will first start blinking and later stay on
for a few seconds more. after that lights will turn off automatically. at
this point please press the ON/OFF button to completely switch off
the scooter.
- Press the ON/OFF button the switch the scooter on again. At this
point. the calibration process will be complete.

BALANCE & LIBRATION
FETY LERTS
While riding your Hi scooter, if there is a system error or illegal
operation performed with your device, the system cannot enter
self7balancing mode, so the device will prompt the user in a variety of
ways.
You \NIII notice the Running indicator Light will turn RED and you will
hear a beep sound alerting you to take precaution and cease
operation.
The following are common occurrences where you will hear the
Safety Alerts, These notices should not be ignored, but appropriate
action should be taken to correct any illegal operation, failure or
errors.
- Prohibited riding surfaces (uneven. too steep, unsafe, etc.)
- When you step on the device. if the platform is tilted more than 10
degrees forward or backward.
- Battery voltage iS too low.
- The device is still charging.
- During operation, the platform self initiates to tilt due to excess
speed.
‘ Overheating, or motor temperature is too high,
- The device has been rocking back and forth over 30 seconds.
- System enters protection mode, the alarm indicator will light up
and buzzer will alarm (this typically occurs when the battery is about
to run out of power).
- If the platform is tilted forward or backward more than 15 degrees.

- If any or both tires are blocked. the device will stop after 2 seconds.
- when the battery level has depleted below protection mode, the
