INTRODUCTION
Domltech Smart LED REITUIlI Kit ZRKSW is a member oi the ZrWave® family
and communicate with other ZeWave® certified devtces in a control network
The Smart Bulb can be controlled by the Zewave remote controller or apps, Each
ZeWave device serves as a node to repeat the signal in the network, thus,
extending the overall ZeWave mesh wireless network range, Diftcront types and
brands of ZrWai/e devices can be associated with domitech Smart Bulb in your
system and they will work together to optimize and expand the coverage of your
Z-Wave network, Once setup is completed, you can enjoy the convenience and
leisure which Smart Bulb offers.

Pleasc rcter to the included installation manual to begin the setup or your bulb
INCLUSION
Step 1, Place your network controller into inclusion mode by iollowmg the
controller manufacturer‘s instructions.

Stop 2, Turn on power to the socket after
promoted by your network controller inclusion
mode. The Smart Bulb will be included into
your network Within 30 seconds. The smart
bulb will flash 2 times after Inclusion lS
successtui, it the controller/gateway shows rt
tailed, repeal the procedure.
Note: it Inclusion still tails arter the 2nd attempt, you need to tirst RESET the
Smart Bulb betore repeating the above steps
Betore repeating the above steps, try moving the Smart Bulb to the bulb socket
in the same room as your home gateway in case the preterred outlet is out of
range initially. Repeat step i-z until the Smart Bulb is added to your network,
Once the light bulb has been successtuiiy added to your home network, you
can move it to the preterred location in the home.

BASIC OPERATION
The [KKSW Smart Bulb can be controlled ON/OH/BRIGHT/l)lM wirelessly
with a ZeWave rcmotc controller or through at gateway via an app on a stnart
phone, tablet, or a PC.
Depending on the capability of your controller/gateway once the Smart Bulb
has been added to your network, you may assign it to a Group or Scene and
change its status via your controller/gateway
ASSOCIATION
The Smart Bulb supports Group 1 with up to iive devices tor liieiirte
communication Croupi must be assigned the Node l1) oi the controller to
which unsolicited notifications Will be sent. The Z-Wave controller should
set this association automatically after inclusion. Lifeline association only
supports the ”manual reset” event, Please reterto the instructions manual of
your remote controller or gateway for detail procedures on how these
function can be set.
EXCLUSION
By controller - The Smart Bulb can be excluded from your network by your
controller/Gateway Similar to the Inclusion process, turn off power to your light
bulb and place your network controller into exclusion mode by following the
controller manufacturers instructions Once prompted by your network
controller, turn ON the light swrtch The Smart Bulb wrll flash twice to confirm
that it has suecessiully been excluded trem your network. Please reter to your
controller/gateway instructions manual tor details.

Dim level when the domitech Smart [ED Light Bulb is turned 0N (Switch ONLY)
You may select the dim level whenever the light is turned back ON to be either
full brightness (100% dim level) or be the same as the last dim setting when the
light is on by flicking the wall switch,
Parameter 1 Length: 1 Byte Valid Values: 0 or 1 (default : 0)
When value c 0, the brightness level will be resume to full brightness when the
Smart Bulb is turned every time.
When value : i, the brightness level will maintain Same dim level as the last
Setting when the Smart Bulb is turned ON again,
Parameter 9: Dimming/Brightening Step Level
you may change the dimming step lcn/el when you adlust the brightness by
your controller/gateway
Parameter 9 Length: 1 Byte Valid Values: 1.99 [default : 1)
When the value is low, dimming/brightening is gradual.
When the value is high, dimming/brightening is rapid.
Parameter 10: Dimming/Brightening Step 'l'rming
You may change the dimming speed quicker or slower by changing Parameter 10.
Parameter l0 Lengthl Byte Valid Values: lr‘lO (default : 3)
When the value is low, the step timing ‘is quick.
When the value is high, the Step timing is slow
MANUALLV TURNING ON or OFF THE LIGHT SWITCH
when you want to manually turn ON the Smart Bulb whenever it is turned OFF
by a program or a remote control, flick the switch twice. The first flick will cut
power to the light and the 2nd flick will turn ON the light.
Vnu may manually switch OFF the light bulb
while keeping the Smart Bulb online in the
network and function as a ZrWave signal
repeater to maintain proper mesh network. The
function can be activated by flicking the wall
switch ”OFFrON” cycle two times within two
seconds. in other words, flick the SWitch four
times (OFFrUNrOFFrUNi. The Smart Bulb light ' err in
will be OFF while it maintains the function as a
ZrWave signal repeater and remains onllne to be
turned on by program or by an app wirelessly.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
To accomplish the repeater functionality other erave devises should be
powered-up state during inclusion of the Smart Bulb. It can make sure all [-wave
devises are in one network.
Picase note that it is extremely important to follow the above practice or to use
ONLV your preferred Wireless remote control device to turn ON or OFF the light
Without the electrical power to the light bulb, the Smart Bulb cannot be turned ON
remotely nor function as a signal repeater to maintain proper ZrWave network.
To avoid family members from accidentl turning OFF the power to the Smart
Bulb, install the optional clear cover that its over your wall SWitch included with
your product, Please refer to the separate installation sheet.
About the Z-Wave 500 Series Module with Z-Wave Plus features:
Vnu can use a ZrWave certified portable or static Controller to communicate with
the module, Depending on the capability of your controller or gateway software
the followrng simple to advanced operations may be performed. Please refer to
the controller or gateway manual for details.

3. Assign the Smart Bulb to a specific Group/Scene and/or to include the bulb
as part of your ALL ON or OFF command.

the corresponding association becomes invalid

Please note that like any other lights, the Smart Bulb Will be on after a power
failure. The smart bulb Will be low with full brightness after the power is
resumed if parameter t is not changed by the controller/gateway
