![Damerell Consulting Conneq2 Usage The Conneq2 Tag is a sealed Industrial tag that can be used for tagging indoor and outdoor assets. The tags are supplied with a fitting kit that allows them to be attached to either flat curved surfaces. Typical outdoor applications are tracking plant equipment and cable drums in managed yards Whilst indoor applications can include tracking IT equipment, bedframes and trolleys. Fitting Instructions Requirements ▪ Conneq2 Tag ▪ Fitting Kit, tubular or flat ▪ Dry Cloth ▪ Philips Screw Driver Installation First ensure that the mounting surface is clean and free from debris, remove any dirt using the cloth. Using the suitable mounting kit, tubular for mounting on poles or flat for mounting on flat surfaces, attach the mounting kit to the surface using the supplied fixings and tighten with the screw driver. Clip the tag into the mounting kit. Maintenance The Conneq2 is a sealed unit and requires no maintenance during its life span. Cleaning The Conneq2 can be cleaned using water applied to a cloth. Solvents and Oils should not be used for cleaning the Conneq2 End of Life At the end of its functional life the tag must be disposed of in a suitable local recycling facility and in accordance with any local laws pertaining to the recycling of waste electronic equipment. The tag consists of an ABS plastic internal housing over molded with TUP, electronic components and a lithium battery.
