Cradle. The user is responsible for any damages caused by
incorrect use of the equipment or by inobservance of the
indication supplied in this manual.
CAUTION
Keep the original packaging for use when sending products to
the technical assistance center. Damage caused by improper
packaging is not covered under the warranty.

JOYA TOUCH 3-Slot Cradle Installation
There are basically two different solutions organizing the disposition of
the devices:
• Visible Display Configuration
• High Density Configuration
To mount the cradle on the cabinet, follow the steps below:
1. Mount the JOYA TOUCH 3-Slot Cradle Wall Bracket on the cabinet. The
red-circled spacer in the figure below is used to set the horizontal
pitch in case the panel is not pre-drilled. Remove it from the last
bracket of the row by cutting along the engraving line.
2. Insert the power supply cable through the proper hole (the right hole
is for visible display configuration, the left hole is for high density
configuration). Connect the cradle to the power supply (see Powering
the Cradle).

3. Place the cradle on the mounting bracket as shown in the following
pictures. Ensure there is no gap between the bracket and the cradle.
Fix the cradle to the bracket using the two screws included in the
bracket’s box.

High Density Configuration
Remove the JOYA TOUCH from the 3-Slot Cradle
The JOYA TOUCH 3-Slot Cradle can be remotely unlocked via a JOYA TOUCH command or locally
unlocked using the JOYA TOUCH Cradle Unlock Key.
The Unlock Key can be used only by service.
To locally unlock the cradle and remove the JOYA TOUCH:
1. Insert the unlock key into the opening and gently press it all the way down:
2. Remove the JOYA TOUCH while keeping the unlock key pressed:
Powering the Cradle
Each power supply must be mounted on its bracket inside the cabinet, as shown in the figure below:
There are two options to connect the cradle to the power supply: fast charge and standard charge.
Fast Charge
The fast charge connection allows to power one cradle with one power supply.
Plug the power supply cable into the power connector on the back of the cradle as shown in the figure
below:
Standard Charge
The standard charge connection allows to power two cradles with one power supply.
To connect a second cradle use the JOYA TOUCH Cradle Power Jumper.
Connect the power supply to the first cradle and then use the power jumper to connect the first
cradle to the second cradle as shown in the figure below:
