INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing the ONSIA BTA-5 Bluetooth Audio Amplifier powered by Dedicated Sound and
Audio. The ONSIA BTA-5 Bluetooth Audio Amplifier is a small form factor audio amplifier with Bluetooth
wireless technology and has been designed to be compatible
with Bluetooth wireless technology
enabled smartphones, laptops, tablets and PCs
. The ONSIA BTA-5 Bluetooth Audio Amplifier offers
power efficiency audio amplifier design and provides a truly enjoyable
listening
experience with the added convenience of wireless technology.

SETUP
The ONSIA BTA-5 Bluetooth Audio Amplifier comes with an optional remote DC jack and LED cable
assembly (CA-1). The following diagram depicts the setup of the amplifier with the optional cable assembly.

OPERATION
1) Connect Speaker and Power Supply.
Connect a 8Ω speaker with 10W RMS
minimum power handling capabilities to
the cable labeled “SPKR.”
Connect a 12V DC power supply
(1.2A minimum) to the DC jack located
on the amplifier.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
If your ONSIA Bluetooth Audio Amplifier appears to have a problem, the following notes may help. If the
problem still persists after having attempted to resolve it, consult your dealer
for
assistance.
Symptom
Possible Cause
No sound at all
-Check amplifier is powered ON.
-Check volume and mute settings on music source device.
-Check device is paired.
-Reset audio amplifier. Slide power switch to the “OFF”
position and then back to the “ON” position.
Unable to pair device
-Check amplifier is powered ON.
-Make sure amplifier is not paired to another device.
-Place music source device in direct line of sight and within
20 feet. Objects, walls, and moving persons may reduce
wireless operating range.
-Reset amplifier. Slide power switch to the “OFF”
position and then back to the “ON” position.
Music breaks, device disconnects
-Place music source device in direct line of sight and within
20 feet. Objects, walls, and moving persons may reduce
wireless operating range.
-If using a streaming music service, try playing music
stored in music source device instead.
Distortion at high volume levels
-Check the recording quality of the music material.

PRODUCT CARE
Do not use any solvents or liquids to clean your ONSIA Bluetooth Audio Amplifier. Simply dust unit with a
dry piece of cloth.
WARRANTY INFORMATION
Dedicated Sound and Audio warrants its ONSIA Bluetooth Audio Amplifier products to be free from defects
in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. DO NOT attempt to open, dismantle,
disassemble or modify the unit; doing so will void its warranty. Except where prohibited by applicable law,
this warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary under local laws.
In the event of a defect, Dedicated Sound and Audio will, at its option, repair or replace the product with
no charge to the purchaser for parts or labor. The repaired or replaced product will be warranted for 90
days from the date of return shipment, or for the balance of the original warranty, whichever is longer.
To obtain warranty service, the purchaser must obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number
by calling Dedicated Sound and Audio at 1-800-279-7686. To obtain an RMA number, the purchaser
must provide a copy of the original sales receipt. The purchaser must return the product postpaid with
the purchaser’s return address and the RMA number clearly printed on the outside of the package to the
Authorized ONSIA Service Center provided by Dedicated Sound and Audio with the RMA number.
Dedicated Sound and Audio will not be responsible for any losses or damage to the product incurred
while the product is in transit or is being shipped for repair. Insurance is highly recommended.
