The Dell 2145cn Multifunction Colour Laser Printer is four devices in one – a colour
laser printer, fax machine, scanner and copier – developed for businesses that are
looking to save space and maintenance by consolidating multiple imaging devices.
The 2145cn can produce up to 20 pages per minute (ppm) in both mono and colour,
single or double-sided using the built-in duplex unit. With a print resolution of up to
2400 dpi x 600 dpi, you are assured of a brilliantly sharp output every time.
Robustly built and feature-packed, the 2145cn fits well into both a small oce or medium-
sized department. Save time by copying and scanning double-sided documents with
ease using the 50 sheet duplex automatic document feeder. The included digital
archiving software will help to keep your oce documents organised and tidy.
The 2145cn is designed to grow with your future business needs. Optional accessories
include a 500-sheet drawer, expandable memory and an 80GB hard disk. Outstanding
reliability is assured with a handling capability of up to 65 000 pages per month.

files or networked print files
Local disk Depending upon application and network support, the optional 80 GB hard disk supports stored, delayed, secure and proof printing,
print spooling and collated printing. Print spooling can speed print jobs and reduce network congestion, particularly with large,
complex or multiple-copy documents. Collation can be accomplished more eciently and with greatly reduced network trac impact.
Printer job management is improved with an embedded Job Management System. Data stored on the disk is secure and there is a
secure erase function available.

convenience, scan and print files directly from your USB flash drive

from your desk and files with digital archiving by using the included
SmarThru Oce™ software application.

A mixture of 50% mono: colour print is assumed. The printer enters standby mode when the print job is complete, and enters sleep mode after the default period.
The printer is assumed to remain in sleep mode at all other times including two weekend days. Energy consumption will be further reduced if the printer is powered
