Dell™ DX Object Storage Platform Interoperability Guide This document provides information about the supported hardware and software versions for Dell™ DX Object Storage Platform systems. Supported Hardware This section lists the hardware supported by DX Object Storage Platform. Where applicable, firmware and driver versions are also listed. BIOS Versions Table 1 lists the BIOS version supported by the DX6000 system. Platform BIOS Version Supported DX6000 2.0.13 or later DX6012S 1.2.12 or later DX6004S 1.0.0 or later Table 1. Supported System BIOS Hard Drives The DX Object Storage Platform supports internal 3.5-inch hard drives only. Table 2 lists the supported hard drives and RAID types. Supported Hard drives 1 Hot removal of drive is supported. Reinserting or adding a new hard drive requires reboot of the DX6012S and DX6004S. Supported Controllers Table 3 lists the supported RAID controllers, supported firmware, and driver versions.
