Subject: Compliance Statement in Car Manual
Dear Mr. KAZUNORI SAKAI,
Our product isBBL Is a receiver for keyless entry systems for cars. Since it will be already installed in
cars (as original equipment) when it will be placed into the U.S. market, we must hereby request that
the following statement per CFR 47, Part 15, Paragraph 15.21. the Iollowing caution must be added to
the car manufacturer's manual:
The title ICAUTION T0 USER:" or 'FCC WARNING:" or 'NOTE:' or relevant title. and ‘ Changes or
modificailons not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the users
authority to operate the equipment."
Additionally. per CFR 47, Part 15, Paragraph 15.105(b). the following caution must be added to the car
manufacturer’s manual:
“NOTE: This equipment has been tested and Iound to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant
to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against hannlul
interference In a residential installation. This equipment generates. uses and can radiate radio frequency energy
and, it not hstalled and used in accordance with the Instructions. may cause hannlul Interferenceto radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interIerence will not occur in a particular installation. If this
equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception. which can be determined by turning
the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more or the following
measures:
-Reorlem or relocate the receiving antenna.
-increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit difierent from that to which the receiver ls connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio TV technician Ior help."
