Keep all game manuals because they contain important information about using and caring for the product. Product Care: (1) Only use the products with the gaming system for which they are designed. (2) Keep the products dry and away from open flames or other heat sources. (3) Do not modify or take apart the products. (4) Use a dry cloth to clean the products. Product Disposal Information: Dispose of this product in accordance with local and national disposal regulations (if any), including those governing the recovery and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC).    - Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. - Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged. - Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. - Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. - Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. - Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. - Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. - The supply terminals are not to be short circuited.  Retain package for future reference as it contains important information.

  4 Setting Up the Disney Infinity Base:     Circle: Disney Infinity Figure and/or Power Disc spot   Hexagon:  Disney Infinity Play Set Piece and/or Power Disc spot
  5QUICK START GUIDE  Setting Up the Disney Infinity Base:  1) Once removed from the packaging, turn the Base over and use a Phillips #1 screwdriver (turning to the right) to open the battery compartment.  Insert three (3) AAA/R03 (1.5V) batteries (not included) into the battery compartment of the Disney Infinity Base bottom (pictured below) and close the compartment using a Phillips #1 screwdriver (turning to the left).   6   (3) AAA/R03 (1.5V) batteries (not included)  2) The Disney Infinity Base (pictured below) needs to be placed on a stable, secure and even surface that is near the Nintendo 3DS, so that the infrared transceiver can be aligned. a. Round pad:  Disney Infinity Figure and/or Power Disc spot b. Hexagonal pad: Disney Infinity Play Set Piece and/or Power Disc spot    Using the Disney Infinity Base: 1) Note that the Disney Infinity Base does not have a switch to turn it on/off.  The Base is automatically awakened when in communication with the game, via the infrared transceiver.  2) The Disney Infinity Base only communicates with the game when the game is placed in specific Scan modes.  a. In the game, navigate to the Scan Menu.  b. Select  “Scan”  c. Align the Disney Infinity Base and the Nintendo 3DS so that the infrared transceiver are aligned.  d. Place a Disney Infinity Figure on the round pad of the Base e. Base should light up, indicating a Disney Infinity Figure is detected 3) Equip your character with additional powers using the Disney Infinity Power Discs a. Equip your characters with bonuses by placing up to two Power Discs on the Circle slot beneath your Disney Infinity Figure.  b. Place Hex Power Discs or play set pieces on the Hex Slot to unlock new content in the catalog.
  7      Troubleshooting: Disney Infinity Figure is not appearing in-game:   1) Be sure the Disney Infinity Base is on a flat surface. 2) Be sure the Disney Infinity Figure is placed completely flush with the circular spot with nothing in between the Base and the Disney Infinity Figure (unless a Power Disc is being used).   a. Only one Power Disc may be used at a time on the Hex Slot.  3) Be sure the infrared transceiver on the Base is aligned with the infrared transceiver on the Nintendo 3DS. 4) Please make sure you have enough battery power.
