SE-0205 TOOL BOX ALARM -Remote Activated Alarm PACKAGE INCLUDES: Ÿ Tool Box Alarm Main Unit with two magnetic detectors...1PC Ÿ Remote with ARM/DISARM buttons...1PC Ÿ 12V 23A Alkaline battery (for Remote)… 1 PC Ÿ Warning Sticker… 1 PC BATTERY INSTALLATION: Main Alarm Unit: Ÿ Remove the front battery cover by sliding it downwards Ÿ Unscrew the water resistant cover Ÿ Follow the polarity instructions and insert the three AAA Alkaline batteries (not included) Ÿ Screw on the water resistant cover Ÿ After the batteries are installed, the red LED will flash. The Main Alarm unit is now prepared for the Remote Unit to learn the mutual control code Ÿ Press either the ARM or DISARM button on the Remote unit. Three short beeps will sound and the red LED will flash to indicate that the Main Alarm unit has successfully learning the code Remote Unit: Ÿ Unscrew the back cover to insert or replace 1pc fresh DC12V battery (included) into the battery compartment Ÿ The red LED will turn on to indicate that the battery has been installed successfully Ÿ Press either of the two buttons on the Remote Unit to turn OFF the red LED OPERATION: Ÿ Attach the alarm to the inside of your tool box using the included adhesive Ÿ When setting up the Tool Box Alarm for the first time, place the magnetic sensors inside your truck tool box adjacent to each other. Make sure that the two sensors are not separated by more than 1 CM when the lid is closed. Ÿ After closing the lid, press the remote and wait for the confirming beep: If one beep is heard, then Tool Box Alarm is armed. If instead four beeps sound, then the magnetic sensors are too far apart under the lid and need to be placed closer together. Open the lid, re-adjust, and try again until a “bi” sound is heard. Now the Tool Box Alarm is ready to protect your valuables. Ÿ Use the remote to arm and disarm the Tool Box Alarm. These actions are confirmed by an audible beep and LED flash. Ÿ The alarm will enter into arm status 5 seconds after the ARM button is pressed Ÿ In the event of a Tool Box break-in, the armed alarm and the LED will go off continuously for one minute and then automatically reset to armed status. Ÿ Turn OFF the alarm by pressing DISARM. Two short beeps will then sound accompanied by an LED flash. LOW BATTERY INDICATION: Main Alarm Unit: When the battery power becomes low, the red LED will flash at 20 second intervals to remind the user that the batteries will need to be replaced soon. Remote Unit: If the remote distance becomes obviously shorter than average, then may indicate that the Remote unit’s battery is low and needs to be replaced. NOTES: Ÿ Each time new batteries are placed in the Main Unit or the Remote, the alarm needs to re-learn the code by repeating the above steps. Ÿ When the Tool Box Alarm is not in use, please remove the batteries to conserve power. Ÿ For better performance, alkaline batteries are recommended.
