SE-0305 INFRARED PERIMETER PROTECTOR ALARM
BATTERY INSTALLATION:
Unscrew the battery cover of the PIR (passive Infrared) Unit and Remote Control.
Follow the polarity instructions to install 1 x 9V battery (not included) for the PIR Unit and 1 x 12V alkaline battery (included) for the Remote
Control.
Replace the battery covers and screws for each component.
STEPS TO INITIATE THE INFRARED PERIMETER PROTECTOR ALARM:
After installing the batteries, press the ON/OFF button on the back of the PIR Unit. A red led will flash continuously. This indicates that the
INFRARED PERIMETER PROTECTOR ALARM has recognized the Remote Control’s code and is ready to cooperate with it.
Press the button on the Remote Control for at least 3 seconds.
4 beeping signals will sound off. The INFRARED PERIMETER
PROTECTOR ALARM has now successfully connected with the Remote Control.
The device will now be in “warm-up” mode for 30 seconds with the red light illuminated. Once red light turns off, the device will enter
“guarding mode.”
HOW TO USE THE INFRARED PERIMETER PROTECTOR ALARM:
Press the button on the Remote Control. The Main Unit will respond with a beep sound and the red LED light will flash once. Now the
device is ARMED.
Once the Infrared Perimeter Protector Alarm detects any unexpected animals or people in its protected range (about 15 feet across a 90
degree spread), a loud alarm will sound continuously for 20 seconds. At the same time, the red LED light will flash. After this 20-second
period, if there are no intrusions for a period of 3 seconds, the Main Unit will return to ARMED mode.
Otherwise the alarm will sound for
another 20 seconds.
To disarm the device, press the button on the Remote Control. 2 beeps will be heard from the Main Unit and the red LED light will flash
twice.
NOTES:
When the INFRARED PERIMETER PROTECTOR ALARM’s battery is weak, continuous one-beep-and-flash signals with an interval of 20
seconds will sound/illuminate. At this point the battery should be promptly replaced.
While this is a water resistant product, it is NOT to be used in the rain, underwater, or in extremely wet conditions.
WARNING:
The high pitched alarm sound may injure hearing if in close proximity to the ears.
This alarm contains small parts and is not suitable for children.
