Use Multi-FIT to perform both sensitivity testing and fit testing. To fit test, line up to 6 workers shoulder-to-shoulder. Instruct them to don and fit respirators and any other applicable safety equipment. Place and secure a hood on each worker. Turn on the tester and trigger solution into the access port of the first worker’s hood using the number of squeezes indicated during sensitivity testing. Immediately repeat for each remaining worker, one right after the other. Activate the timer on the Multi-FIT tester. Trigger a half dose into the access port of the first worker’s hood and have him/her begin exercises required by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 App A.
