96kHz sampling enables reproduction of sounds faithful to the original source.
The 96kHz Sampling D/A converter samples at a much higher rate than the usual
44.1kHz to offer reproduction frequencies as high as 48kHz (half the sampling
frequency of 96kHz), surpassing the format specifications for CD as the first such D/A
Converter for car audio use. By broadening the sampling range, it becomes possible
to reproduce the subtle nuances and depth contained in harmonic elements while
reducing phase distortion in the high frequency range, delivering the full expressive-
ness and natural resonation that is inherently present in sound.

Clarion is proud to present its premier line of multi-
speakers for a new generation of vehicles. Offering
a specific fit adaptor for vehicles with more difficult
fitment requirements, and allowing for a seamless
and effort-free installation. Other features include
die-cast frames for advanced rigidity, soft silk
dome tweeters, and Spider Exhaust Technology
S.E.T. Cooling for improved power handling.
MultiFit
The multi-fit construction of the Ultra and Platinum series
allows the tweeter and woofer to be separated during instal-
lation. This grants the user the ability to install the speakers
in the most focally correct location for specific vehicles.

Spider Exhaust Technology Cooling S.E.T.
Heat is the number one enemy of speakers. All of Clarion’s Ultra and
Platinum woofer drivers feature S.E.T. (Spider Exhaust Technology)
Cooling, to allow hot air to escape the speaker’s internal motor assembly
via computer designed porting.
