Important Ordering Information
■To determine the correct tong reorder length,
measure exposed tong length when installed in
spot welder.
Removed tongs measure 2 inches longer than
the listed chart length. For correct reorder length,
deduct 2 inches from the removed tong.
■One set of tips is supplied with each set of tongs.
■Maximum welding capabilities are obtained with
minimum tong length.
■Tips are made of RWMA Class 2 Alloy.
For your added convenience, spot welder tongs and tips
can now be ordered through the Miller Service Parts
business for use with the following models:
■ MSW-41, MSW-41T, MSW-42, MSW-42T,
LMSW-52 and LMSW-52T

Important Ordering Information
■To determine the correct tong reorder length,
measure from the center of the spot weld tip back
to the front water hose connection.
■Tongs and tips shown to the left can be used
with all PSW and SSW model spot welders.
Recommended max imum tong length is 18 in
(457 mm). A limited group of special tongs are
awvailable, contact Miller Service Parts.
■Tong throat-height dimen sion for standard 90° and
45° tongs is 4-1/4 in (108 mm). Throat length is
measured from the center of the spot tips to the
front water hose connection on the tong.
■One set of tips is supplied with each set of tongs.
■Tips are made of RWMA Class 2 alloy.
■Maximum welding capabilities are obtained with
minimum tong length.
■MT = Morse Taper
No. 1 Morse Taper diameter = 1/2 inch
No. 2 Morse Taper diameter = 5/8 inch
