Product family
The PLEXIGLAS® LED product family contains all
grades that take full advantage of the lighting
benefits offfered by LEDs. Versatile light-
emitting diodes (LEDs) provide new options for
lighting design combined with energy savings
and low maintenance.

The different materials were mainly developed
for the following applications:
Light fixtures
Backlighting with high light transmission
and balanced light diffusion:

Illuminated signs
Edge lighting for ultra-slim luminous
surfaces:
PLEXIGLAS® LED for edge lighting (Ref.

Direct backlighting with various effects:
PLEXIGLAS® LED for backlighting

Side lighting in light-box signs for
optimized illumination using special LED
modules:

These LED lighting techniques are of course also
used for related applications, such as exhibition
booths and store fixtures, as well as in other
markets.
