There is an ever changing world of technology in computers, Windows and software. There is an ever
changing world of law and regulatory compliance. All companies must deal with compliance to ever
changing laws. An inspector from the law regulators asked me a question, how would you answer this
question “Are most of the people you sell to Honorable enough to make a mandated upgrade?????”
The truthful answer is that many of our people Brian sold to do not respect the law at all.
From time to time changes in the regulatory law require a change in the software. To protect people we
must comply with these changes. Some of these changes require a mandated upgrade of the software
to keep compliance. The expiry date is used to help assist and enforce the mandated change. We hope
people are professional enough to understand this requirement.
For sales people please do not sell a washing machine to someone who cannot buy soap. Please do not
sell a hammer to someone who cannot buy nails. We try to have professional adults as users of this
incredible technology. But sometimes people are put into desperate conditions. We try to help all as
best we can for them to stay in compliance.
We were told by the regulators that since some of the people we sell to are less than honorable we
should use an expiry date to mandate upgrade; there is an expiry date in all versions.
In February we determine if any new updates are mandatory. If there is no mandated upgrade then a
release file is sent to all that you should put into your computer files. This file will stop the expiry date
from being active. This file will be circulated to all over the web.

DEVICE WARRANTY CONTRACT
Please refer to the Warranty Contract and contact BHO or your
Manufacturer or Salesman if you have any questions regarding
the Warranty Contract.
1. Products Cover
The device (“The System”) and the limb and head harness (“The straps”) designed and manufactured by
Maitreya Ltd. (“The Manufacturer”). The device has a recommended shelf-life of five (5) years from the
date of manufacture, and should be refurbished or replaced after that time frame.
2. Warranty Cover
“The Manufacturer” warrants to the final user (“The User”), that “The System”, will be free from defects
in materials and workmanship under normal use and service as directed for one year.
3. Warranty Initiation
The warranty will begin on the day “The User” takes possession of “The System”. Dated proof of
purchase must exist in BHO or “The Manufacturer” records for “The System” returned for warranty
service consideration.
4. Length of Cover
The warranty of “The System”, (excluding consumable items like the harness), is one (1) year and the
warranty of “the straps, harness” is for six (6) months.
5. Proof of Purchase
Proof of Purchase is automatic from the date the device is shipped out to “The User.”
6. Manufacturer’s Actions
If “The System” covered under this warranty becomes defective in material or workmanship during the
applicable warranty period (1 year), “The Manufacturer” will, at its option, either repair the defective
product without charge for parts and labor, or provide a replacement in exchange for “The System”
defective. “The Manufacturer” reserves the right to provide, at no extra cost, a more current upgrade
model for replacement, if available. All shipping expenses to be paid by the user.
7. Not Warranted
I. Systems that have been subjected to misuse, accident, theft and physical damage, improper
installation, abnormal operation or handling, neglect, inundation or fire.
II. Systems that have been damaged due to unauthorized repair, tampering, alteration or
modification by any other than an authorized representative of “The Manufacturer”.
III. Defects caused by components, parts or accessories not compatible with the warranted System.
IV. Systems, whose warranty/quality, product serial number, electronic serial numbers, stickers or
plates have been removed, altered, rendered illegible or tampered with.
V. Accessory items and Consumables.
Any other warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness
for a particular purpose, shall be limited in duration to the duration of this warranty.
“The Manufacturer” assumes total liability for damages for any cause related to, or arising out of, the
use or inability to use “The System”, whether in contract, negligence, strict tort or based on any other
legal aspect, shall not exceed the original price paid for “The System”. Page 47 of 51 SCIO User Manual

In no case shall “The Manufacturer” be liable for any indirect special, incidental, or consequential
damages based upon breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict tort or any other legal
theory, such damages include, but are not limited to, loss of profits, loss of savings nor revenues,
inability to use “The System” or any associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of any substitute
equipment, facilities or services, claims by Third Parties other than “The User”, and injury to property.
8. Warranty Service
If “The System” requires warranty service, “The User” must first contact BHO or the “The Manufacturer”
to receive authorization. Once “The User” obtains authorization “The System” must be returned at the
cost of “The User” along with a description of “The System” malfunction or difficulty and the address
where “The System” must be returned. Warranty status must be substantiated as explained in
paragraph 5.
“The Manufacturer” assumes no risk for damage or loss in shipment. If in “The Manufacturer’s” sole
opinion, “The System” failure is not covered under this warranty, “The User” will be notified and an
authorization will be requested for any further repair activity. “The System” repaired under warranty
will be returned to “The User” at the cost of “The Manufacturer”. If “The System” is repaired and it is
not under warranty it will be returned to “The User” at the cost of “The User”.
Judgment on all situations and/or occurrences that may arise and are not listed in paragraph 7 will be
left to the discretion of “The Manufacturer”. All decisions made by “The Manufacturer” are final and
absolute. Additional years of warranty guarantee and or insurance details can be requested.
9. Agreement
Unless modified in writing, signed by both “The Manufacturer” and “The User”, this warranty is
understood to be the complete and exclusive agreement between the parties, superseding all prior
agreements, oral or written, and all other communications between the parties in relation to the subject
matter of this warranty. Neither Agent nor Employee of “The Manufacturer” may make modifications to
this warranty and, if so, such representations should not be relied upon.

Desire’ Dubounet and now registered to and owned by a consortium of stockholders (Eclosion kft) who
license the use to manufacturers and users.
2. Warranty Cover
“The Manufacturer” warrants to the final user (“The User”), that “The System”, will be operative under
normal use and service as directed. Small spelling errors and small glitches are to be expected but
overall operation is under warranty. “The Manufacturer” retains the right to determine which is which.
3. Warranty Initiation
The warranty will begin on the day “The User” takes possession of “The System”. Dated proof of
software purchase must exist in BHO or “The Manufacturer” records for “The System” returned for
warranty service consideration. All activations must occur from BHO and the pay pal to be official. If you
wish to check your system there is a button in the start up to check if your system was legally activated.
4. Length of Cover
The warranty of “The System” activation is one (1) year. If any regulatory mandate makes upgrade
obligatory the user must upgrade to keep compliance.
5. Proof of Purchase

SOC Index Policy
There comes friction from some people over the issue of asking the SOC questions. This friction mostly
comes from smokers who are ashamed to ask if someone else smokes while the air around them is
clearly filled with the stench of burnt paper and the fingers are yellow from the disgusting residue of
nicotine. Tobacco is associated with one out of every four deaths as it is the world’s largest killer. And
the addiction of the smoke twists the minds of the addicts to lie and distort reality with rationalization
and imbalanced excuses.
Biofeedback has survived recently by embracing lifestyle analysis and there is a $25 CPT code fee for
doing the SOC Index. Personal Responsibility is the core of the biofeedback practice. Professionalism
requires and mandates personal responsibility. If a biofeedback health care practitioner does not want
to ask lifestyle questions or the SOC Index then he should look for a vocation elsewhere. MacDonald’s is
always hiring and there are many job opportunities in the hotel and house cleaning field.
Now as to the operation of the device.
If you needed to measure a person’s weight is it not a fair question to ask “Do you have any bricks in
your pockets???, How much do your shoes weight???”. Is there something weighing you down??”. Well
that is what the SOC is. We are seeing what is weighing our patient down.
If there are two dissimilar metals in your mouth such as mercury fillings the water in your mouth makes
a battery. If we are going to measure the subtle body electric we need to know if there are fillings in the
mouth upsetting the body electric. This is important, I mean very important.
If you smoke the smoke interferes with your oxygen transport. Every body function in every cell is less
when you smoke. Your wellness is less with each puff. To compensate the body must take energy away
from other life functions to compensate. So we if we le and do not tell the device we smoke the
measurement is less accurate. We cannot get a true hydration and oxygenation reading without the SOC
Index. This is important, I mean very important.
The other measures all have some bearing on education, insight, wellness, health and personal
responsibility. But many have direct bearing on the accuracy of the treatment. If you are concerned with
accuracy and efficacy then you should do the SOC Index.
You may agree with Dr House and say that all people lie. But we should not build lies into the system by
not reporting the SOC Index. your car was designed to have 4 or 5 lug nuts on each wheel and you could
take off one on each wheel and still drive, but you are not safe doing things away from the original
design. The original design was for the SOC index to be a crucial part of the process. Behavioral medicine
is our start as we encourage personal responsibility.
Exercise is important as is stress reduction and of course awareness is key. Know Thyself and then
Physician Heal Thyself. Awareness and enthusiasm is needed for health care.
