Performance

EU Energy Label

To help you choose the most energy

efficient appliances, the EU has

introduced an energy-rating scheme,

whereby all ovens are required to display an

EU Energy Label. The most efficient rating

is 'A' and the least efficient is 'G', all Bosch

single ovens have been awarded an A rating

and all double ovens have an A/B rating.

Design

Metal behind glass

The new generation of Bosch ovens bring

style and elegance to the kitchen. The new

concept U-form door has a horizontal

section of steel behind the outer glass for

a unique, chic look.

Sleek new lines

Our new ovens combine the highest quality

stainless steel and glass for a sleek and

resistant finish. The ergonomically designed

all-steel straight bar handle integrates

perfectly with the door. And, matching

control panels and horizontal lines allow

you to mix and match different products

vertically and horizontally for a completely

coordinated look.

Enamel titanium coating

The grey enamel titanium interior coating

is easy to clean and the lighter colour

improves visibility of your dishes while

cooking.

Our range of single ovens are available

with three different door constructions;

drop-down, pullout and side opening, so

that you can ensure the best solution for

your kitchen environment and personal

Control panel

Fully programmable, the new twin display

control panel is intuitive and simple to use.

Selected models also feature clear text on

the display screen.

Pop-out controls

Not only make the oven easy to operate but

also they maintain a clean line when the

oven is not in use, making the oven control

panel easy to clean. Our top of the range

Logixx models also have an illuminated

red band.

Metal touch controls

Our state-of-the-art ovens now feature the

latest in touch control technology with

metal touch controls, which only require the

lightest touch to activate them.

Colour options

Bosch built-in appliances come in a number

of finishes to complement most kitchen

styles. Brushed steel offers a bold, stunning

statement, while premium black and white

models feature glass fascias, steel handles

and steel finished control dials to deliver a

modern, contemporary twist to old

favourites. Those who prefer their white and

black models in a more traditional form,

Bosch also offers models with colour

coordinated handles, controls and metal

fascias.

Convenience

Pyrolytic self-cleaning system

The ultimate in self-cleaning power

and convenience. During the

pyrolytic self-cleaning cycle, the oven is

heated to around 480°C, at this

temperature any deposits are quickly

reduced to a thin layer of ash, which can

then be simply wiped away with a damp

cloth to leave a completely clean oven.

Memory function

Store your favourite recipe instructions

e.g. heating mode + temperature + cooking

duration then simply press the memory

button to repeat the sequence at any time.

Sabbath setting

The oven can be set to maintain a

temperature of 85°C for between 24 and

73 hours.

Safety

Safer touch doors

Bosch oven doors are either double or triple

glazed depending on the model, and ensure

that the temperature of the door is always

well within safety standards.

Safety lock

Simply press the lock key for 4

seconds to disable all functions.

Automatic switch off (electronic ovens)

For extra peace of mind, if left unattended,

the electronic oven will switch off after a

specific period of time. This additional

safety feature is only available on electronic

models. This can be over-ridden simply by

periodically adjusting the temperature.

Deep pan

This extra deep large pan has a capacity of

10 litres and is ideal for grilling or roasting

on a big scale. (HEZ333000)

Fully extendable shelf rails

The height of convenience, telescopic shelf

rails allow you to pull out the oven shelves

to access an item without having to lift it

out of the oven. Ideal for basting or tasting

quickly and safely. Each set is supplied with

rails for three shelf levels. (HEZ338305)

10 Ovens Auto Cook

Auto Cook.

Imagine having a sous-chef working

for you in your kitchen everyday?

With Auto Cook you can!

Simply place the dish in the oven,

and then choose the appropriate

automatic programme from the

menu. There are 40 or 68 recipes to

choose from depending on the

model.

Specify how you want your dish

cooked. For example, if you are

cooking roast beef would you prefer

it rare, medium or well done?

Input the weight of the meat or fish

and press start. Auto Cook then takes

over and determines the cooking

mode, temperature and cooking

duration. It even switches off the

oven towards the end of the cooking

time to finish off using residual heat

thus saving energy.

Press the Auto Cook key

and select an automatic

cooking programme

Specify how you would

like it cooked i.e. rare

Input the weight

Press start

Poultry, red meat, fish or stews,

Auto Cook will cook your dish to

perfection. As Auto Cook requires the

use of ovenware with a lid your oven

will stay clean too. Cooking with

Bosch couldn’t be simpler.

12 Ovens Cooking functions

Cooking functions.

Multi-function cooking provides a solution for all your cooking

requirements. With a choice of up to 11 different cooking functions,

from traditional heating systems to more specialised functions such as

Hydrobaking and Pizza setting, a Bosch oven will provide you with the

flexibility to prepare a variety of meals for you and your family.

3D hot air cooking

The element around the fan distributes the heat quickly

and evenly throughout the oven for same temperature

cooking on three levels. Sweet and savoury items can be cooked

at the same time. At higher temperatures (200-220°C) the effect

is to evenly grill on three levels – with no turning of the food

required. Use high temperature 3D hot air cooking, for example,

to cook an entire full English breakfast.

Conventional top and bottom heat

Employs both the upper and lower heating elements.

The heat travels to the centre of the oven by natural

convection, which is the best position to obtain the selected

temperature. Most foods can be cooked using this system, but it

is best suited to foods which require a dark crisp finish or long

slow cooking.

Bottom heat only

Only the bottom element is used to generate heat.

This method is ideal for reheating or for when a crisp

underside is required such as pizza bases and pastry cases.

It can also be used for drying herbs and bain-marie cooking.

Full width variable grill

Enables you to grill large quantities with precise

temperature control. For added efficiency grilling is

performed with the oven door closed.

Half width variable grill

On selected ovens you have the option to select just the

centre section of the grill element as an economical way

to grill smaller quantities of food.

Hot air grilling

An ideal cooking method for meat and poultry where a

rotisserie effect is desired. The grill and fan operate

alternately, which results in even crisp food and can use up to

50% less energy than traditional roasting.

Defrost

Perfect for gently defrosting meat, poultry, bread, cream

cakes and much more.

Auto Cook

Simply place the dish in the oven, and then choose the

appropriate automatic programme from the menu. Specify

how you want your dish cooked e.g. rare, medium or well done.

Input the weight of the meat or fish and press start. Auto Cook

then takes over and determines the cooking mode, temperature

and cooking duration to cook your dish to perfection. (See pages

10 & 11 for more details).

Pizza function

Designed with the pizza-lover in mind, but equally useful

for quiches and tarts, this innovative function delivers

cooking power for a perfectly crisp, browned base while keeping

the topping moist. Suitable also for frozen food, and in many

cases no preheating is required.

Hydrobaking

Retains the natural moisture emitted during the cooking

process to prevent your baking from drying out. Ideal for

bread and pastries.

Low temperature cooking

Ideally suited for keeping high quality pan-fried meat at the

desired level of rareness or otherwise for an extended period of

time without it spoiling. Juices and textures are retained whilst

you get on with preparing the rest of the dinner.

Intensive heat

This time-saver delivers immediate intense heat from

below, which is particularly effective for foods with a

crispy base such as pizza. It makes it unnecessary to preheat the

oven when baking cakes and quiches, and is also ideal for baking

with tin, glass or porcelain moulds, which tend to reflect heat or

are poor conductors of heat.

Fast heat

This time-saver preheats the oven approx. 30% faster by

using all the heating elements at once.

Keep warm

This convenient function keeps food items warm at

temperatures between 66°C and 100°C at the touch of

a button.

Plate warming

Food stays warm for longer if served up in preheated

ovenware. Plate warming allows you to preheat porcelain

ovenware to between 30°C to 65°C.

and press start. Auto Cook then takes over and determines the cooking

Pyrolytic self-cleaning system

The ultimate in self-cleaning power

and convenience. During the

pyrolytic self-cleaning cycle, the oven is

heated to around 480°C, at this

temperature any deposits are quickly

reduced to a thin layer of ash, which can

then be simply wiped away with a damp

cloth to leave a completely clean oven.

Automatic weight programmes

Simply select the appropriate

programme, enter the weight and

press start. The automatic programme then

Safety

Quick stop main switch

feature a main switch, which acts as both a

safety lock and quick stop. By cutting off

the gas supply to the burners the hob

cannot be inadvertently activated. It also

quickly should the phone ring, for example.

Flame failure device

Design

Slim metal profile

Our Logixx ceramic and induction

hobs can be built-in independently

or coordinated with other Logixx hobs, such

as Domino wok burner. The slim brushed

steel profile can be combined profile-to-

profile without visible links.

Performance

Ceramic hob

With their electronic touch controls and

flexible cooking zones, our ceramic hobs

combine great looks with smart function

and design. The smooth ceramic glass hob

surface is tough and durable as well as

being practical and easy to clean.

Induction hob

Induction technology is now widely

recognised as one of the quickest,

safest and most efficient methods of

cooking available. It uses an

electromagnetic field to instantly generate

heat, giving you the control and

responsiveness of gas, but with far more

energy efficiency. Heat is only generated

when the pan is placed on the hob – it

stops as soon as the pan is removed – and

while an induction hob cooks almost twice

as quickly as a standard ceramic hob, and

40% quicker than gas, the ceramic glass of

an induction hob does not get as hot as that

of standard ceramic hobs, which makes for

a safe and easy-to-clean cooking surface.

The hob will only operate with pans with a

ferrous (or magnetic) base.

Boost function

Increases the power output of the selected

cooking zone by approximately 50% by

‘borrowing’ power from another zone. Note

that when boost is selected for a particular

zone, the partner zone contributing the

power cannot be used.

Automatic pan recognition

The hob recognises the size of the pan and

only heats up the base of the pan and not

the whole zone, saving time and energy.

Automatic boil start

The cooking zone may be set to operate at

full power for a period of time before

reverting back to a pre-set power level.

Anti-overflow protection

If liquid accidently overflows onto the

control panel, the hob will automatically

switch off allowing you the opportunity to

clean up.

Small utensil detection

If you leave a serving spoon on the

induction zone when it is turned on, the

hob will not recognise it as being suitable

cookware. As an added safety mechanism,

the hob will automatically switch off giving

you peace of mind.

Keep warm function

The cooking zone may be set to operate at

minimum power in order to keep food warm

on the hob or even as a convenient way to

melt butter or chocolate.

Energy saving

Induction hobs are far more energy efficient

than any other hob. This is because around

three quarters of all the energy consumed is

used to heat the pan. As a comparison, gas

cooking actually only uses about 50% of the

energy consumed to heat the pan. The

cooking zone also automatically detects the

size of the pan base so that heat is only

generated through the area in direct

contact with the pan. Whilst giving you the

flexibility to use smaller sized pans on

larger zones this also results in greater

energy efficiency – the smaller the pan, the

lower the energy consumption.

Time saving

Being almost twice as fast as a standard

ceramic hob and up to 40% faster than gas,

the Bosch induction hob is ideal for those

with busy lifestyles. With the added benefit

of a boost setting, your chosen front or

back cooking zone can be given an extra

injection of power – ideal for high speed

cooking.

Convenience

DirectSelect

Simply selecting the required power

level from those on offer (keys laid

out on the hob) instead of having to press

+/– keys repeatedly.

Freeze function

"Freezes" the control panel at its current

settings to allow the surface to be wiped

down (if something spills). Saves the user

having to switch off the hob to clean it or

risk disturbing the settings. Reverts back at

the touch of the key or after approximately

20 seconds.

Dual zones

Available on selected hobs, this energy-

saving feature allows you to select a smaller

cook zone for small pans, and a larger zone

for larger pans.

Extendable zone

The cooking zone can be extended giving

you a much larger area to accommodate big

saucepans, fish kettles and other special

cooking dishes.

Timer

99-minute timer with acoustic tone,

which automatically switches off

the zone once the cooking time has come

to an end.

Safety

2-stage residual heat display

Provides clear indication of when a

zone is still hot after is has been

turned off. There are two levels: ‘H’ –

residual heat sufficient to finish off cooking

or to keep items warm. ‘h’ – residual heat

insufficient to cook, but zone is still hot

enough for caution.

Safety lock

Featured as standard on all touch

control models, it prevents the hob

from being inadvertently operated.

Emergency stop

Allows you to switch all cook zones off at

the touch of a single button – ideal if the

doorbell rings.

Automatic safety shut off

If the hob is left unattended for an

extended period of time, the safety shut

off facility ensures the hob turns itself off.

Design

Worktop lighting

Integral ‘day light’ halogen lighting ensures

that the cooking area is clearly illuminated.

They last twice as long and are more energy

efficient than standard lights. Some models

also feature a dimmer function.

Performance

Ducted extraction

Ducting out is the most effective method of

extraction if the hood can be sited on

an outside wall, or an outside wall can be

reached via ducting.

Recirculating extraction

If an outside wall cannot be reached the

extractor can be set up for recirculating.

Air is drawn into the appliance through the

filters to neutralise odours and remove

grease particles. The cleaned air is then

returned to the kitchen. A carbon filter or

recirculating kit is necessary for

recirculation (optional accessory).

Recirculating kit

Contains a carbon filter and any other

necessary components to ensure that odour

free air is returned into the kitchen. To

ensure that the hood performance is

maintained, the carbon filter should be

replaced on a regular basis.

Metal filter

A metal filter provides the ultimate in

filtering efficiency. The dishwasher-proof

metal mesh requires periodic cleaning but

can be used over and over again.

Paper grease filter

The print and stripe markings darken

considerably when the disposable paper

filter is saturated to indicate that it needs

replacing.

Convenience

Variable power settings

All Bosch hoods feature multiple power

settings, which can be set to effectively

remove odours, smoke and moisture caused

by cooking in the kitchen area. Many hood

models also feature an intensive extraction

setting, which gives an extra boost to the

performance of the hood when required.

After running

The hood automatically continues to run on,

for approx ten minutes, after normal

operation to ensure that any remaining

vapours and odours are effectively

whisked away. The hood then automatically

switches off.

Automatic switch back

When the intensive setting is selected it

may be set to automatically revert back to a

pre-defined normal level after a short

period of time.

Unlike your washing machine

or dishwasher, your fridge or freezer is on

24 hours a day, so it is especially important

that the appliance does not waste energy.

Our cooling products are among the most

energy-efficient performers in the industry,

minimising environmental damage and

saving you money. Every model in our range

has at least an A rating in the EC Energy

Efficiency rating scheme and many of our

models have an A+ energy rating, meaning

that it uses up to 25% less energy than

equivalent A-rated products.

Active cooling

The temperature within a conventional

fridge can be uneven, since warmer air

rises. Bosch Active Cooling solves this

problem by blowing cold air into all areas

of the fridge by fan or rear wall venting.

Sensor electronics maintain a constant

temperature throughout the compartment

to +/-1°C. Your food is protected against

bacterial growth, and is kept fresher for

longer.

Supercool

Putting new food into your fridge causes

the internal temperature to increase; the

more you add, the greater the effect. Your

fridge has to work harder to cool down,

and the food already stored in there can

get warmer. So for maximum preservation,

Supercool will prepare your fridge by

rapidly reducing the temperature, keeping

the contents cool, and quickly lowering

the temperature of the new groceries

down to 2°C.

Superfreeze

Adding new food to the freezer raises the

internal temperature, and the freezer has to

work harder to avoid food already in there

from warming-up, and possibly even part

defrosting. The Superfreeze function rapidly

lowers the temperature in the freezer,

ensuring that the fresh food is frozen food

quickly, while surrounding frozen food stays

frozen. So even when the door is open for

longer periods, the contents are protected.

Individual freezing elements

All standard (non Frost-free) Bosch freezer

drawers feature individual freezing

elements which ensures an even

temperature throughout the freezer as well

as efficient freezing down in every drawer.

Pull-out fridge tray

The pull-out fridge tray is suitable for the

storage of cold meat, cheese and other

small items and can be positioned at

any level.

Airstream shelving

Air vents at the back of the shelf allow an

increased level of air circulation within the

fridge. This improved circulation leads to

food staying fresher for longer due to a

more even temperature within the fridge.

Humidity control

Allows adjustment of both temperature and

humidity levels to maximise the shelf life of

fruits and vegetables. Lettuce, for example

should be stored at high air humidity

compared to other fruit and vegetables.

AAA performance

At Bosch we are aware of the importance

of energy efficient and environmentally

friendly appliances. We are so confident of

the quality and efficiency of our

dishwashers that we offer AAA rated

appliances in all our full size and slimline

models – making our models the most

efficient in the world.

5 spray levels

The uniquely designed curved spray arms

distribute water precisely and effectively,

ensuring perfect results every time. The

water is sprayed on five different levels for

maximum performance, including a

downward spray to ensure that the filter

area is kept permanently flushed clean.

Hydrosensor III

Checks the degree of soiling in the

prerinse water and decides whether

it is clean enough to be used for the main

wash cycle. If the water contains only a

small amount of soiling, the water is reused.

Around 20%, or 4 litres, of water can be

saved using the HydroSensor.

Heat exchanger

The unique heat recycling reservoir

maximises performance by using

heat that is generated in the main wash to

pre-heat cold water used for the rinse

cycles before it enters the dishwasher.

Pre-heating the water minimises the risk of

thermal shock which can occur when cold

water strikes warm delicate items which

can cause cracking or breakages. As an

additional benefit this system is also an

extremely energy efficient method of

heating the water.

Detergent aware

No matter which detergent you use – 5in1,

4in1, 3in1, 2in1 tablets or separate

components – all our dishwashers will

adjust the cycle to ensure that you always

get the best possible results – every time.

(Note that to ensure these results

dishwasher salt should always be used).

DosageAssist

Maximises the effectiveness of detergent

tablets. The detergent dispenser is

conveniently located in the centre of the

top of the door, where it is protected from

food remnants that drip whilst loading the

dirty dishes. At the beginning of the wash

cycle, the tab drops into a special tray in

the top basket where its dissolving is

controlled to assure outstanding results.

This prevents tabs dropping down between

plates or cutlery, or not dissolving

completely, resulting in a less-than-perfect

cleaning performance.

To save you the chore of scrubbing

heavily soiled pots and pans, the

entire bottom basket can be transformed

into a power cleaning zone with increased

spray pressure and a higher cleaning

temperature, while in the top basket

delicate glasses and dishes are rinsed

AquaMix

Bosch AquaMix allows you to wash your

delicate glasses with complete confidence.

By regulating the level of water hardness in

the machine and topping up with water

directly from the mains it produces the best

water hardness level for glass, ensuring a

sparkling finish every time.

Advanced filter system

Our easy to remove and clean filter system

now has 50% more surface area. This

allows for up to 15% more water to be

circulated through the system, so that even

more cleaning power can be squeezed from

every drop of water.

Hygiene Exxtra

Select the new Hygiene Exxtra

Safety

AquaStop 24-hr flood protection

All Bosch dishwashers have flood

protection systems, but for added

peace of mind, most models feature

‘AquaStop’, a device that cuts off the water

supply in the case of leaks, and a safety

water valve to guard against siphoning, even

when the machine is switched off.

Simply remove the upper basket, attach the

large item spray head, and get powerful

cleaning where you need it. The large item

spray head comes as standard with all

Half load

If you don’t have enough for a full

load and can’t wait, simply load the

crockery, plates, pots and pans anywhere in

your dishwasher, select the programme

temperature and press the half load button.

The programme time is reduced and up to

RackmaticTM system makes it a simple

The VarioDrawer

A unique feature of our new top-of-

the-range Logixx dishwasher interior

is a third loading level – the VarioDrawer.

It replaces the cutlery basket, freeing even

more space in the bottom basket. The

VarioDrawer is easily removable to allow

is even room for espresso cups and kitchen

utensils. And what’s more, even with the

drawer in place you can still load long-stem

An additional benefit of the SBV69M10GB dishwasher is that it

has an extra 5 cm of interior space. This means that even larger

than normal items can be washed comfortably. For example if

the top basket is adjusted, plates as large as 33cm can be

accommodated in the lower basket. With its height adjustable

feet the SBV69M10GB is suitable for niche heights from

865mm – 925mm.

Programmes

Dark wash

Designed specifically for dark clothes, and

available across a range of temperatures,

this programme reduces fading, and

ensures no flecks of washing powder

remain on your clothes at the end of the

wash.

Delicates silk

An especially caring programme with a

gentle wash action. Intermediate spinning

in the rinse cycle is omitted, and a gentle

final spin at 600 rpm completes this

delicate programme.

Handwash wool

An exceptionally gentle woollens

handwash programme, which runs

at only 27 rpm (usual speed 50 rpm) with a

soft wash action and special spin phase

that ensures that everything stays in good

shape.

Mixed load

A fast wash that allows mixed fabrics and

colour loads to be safely washed together.

Originally designed with school uniforms in

mind, it is capable of handling up to 3kg of

washing, and is ideal for quick washes that

might be required before a full load of

laundry has been collected.

Power wash 60

The Power Wash 60 programme for medium

loads (up to 5kg) gives an A-class

performance wash within 60 minutes.

Sensitive

By prolonging the maximum wash

temperature, increasing the water level, and

adding an extra rinse, this programme

reduces exposure to allergens that irritate

sensitive skin.

Sports wash

A programme for modern sports clothes

with Sportswear microfibre technology like

those used for gym, cycling or jogging.

SuperQuick 15

A short programme of approximately

15 minutes for 2kg of lightly soiled

washing – that’s roughly equivalent to one

outfit or 10 men’s shirts. Packing in a wash,

two rinse cycles and improved rinse

spinning, this is one of the shortest

complete washing programmes of any

machine on the market.

Freshen up

This handy feature gives clothing the

lightest of washes without using any

detergent – particularly useful for

freshening up stored clothes or eliminating

the smell of cigarette smoke on lightly worn

clothes. It cuts down on wear and tear of

clothes, takes only 20 minutes and reduces

energy use.

Pre-wash option

For especially dirty clothes, a pre-wash will

loosen dirt and remove it from the clothes

prior to the main wash.

Reduced ironing option

The laundry is tumbled gently periodically

during the normal programme spin cycle,

and then at the end of the spin phase,

keeping laundry fluffy and tangle free. The

result is reduced creasing, and therefore

easier ironing.

Better than A-rated energy efficiency

All our washing machines deliver an A rated

wash performance, while using as much as

10% less energy than required for A rated

energy efficiency.

Aqua plus

With Aqua Plus, a higher water level is used

throughout the wash and rinse cycles of the

chosen wash programme – for best rinsing

results.

Wash plus system

The Wash Plus system extends a wash

programme to give a more intensive wash,

and brings the equivalent of an A-class

wash performance to a wider range of

temperatures than ever before. Unlike most

washing machines on the market, Bosch

machines now deliver the equivalent of an

A-class performance not only at 60°C, but

at 40°C and 90°C as well.

3D AquaSpa wash system

A wash and shower system for

optimum washing results. Water

enters the drum from three sides for quick

and effective distribution. During the cycle

specially designed paddles scoop up the

water gently bathing the wash load,

ensuring gentle washing and optimum

usage of the water in the drum.

Unique SoftSurgeTM drum system

Gives better cleaning results, as well as

providing greater protection for your

washing. The asymmetric paddles and

‘rain-drop’ drum surface design provides

power for those heavy-duty jobs, while

being gentle on your clothes. The advanced

Water Flow System more efficiently

distributes the water and detergents

through the wash, and reduces soaking

time. Add to this new moulding of the

window glass that guides your laundry

towards the centre of the drum, and so

avoids snagging of small items between the

However we realise that components do occasionally fail which is why

we set great store by the quality of our customer service.

Bosch customer service.

All Bosch appliances come with a full two years’ warranty

(to take advantage of the second year the appliance guarantee

card must be returned to us). This warranty can be extended

for a further three years (total 5 years) with a Breakdown

Protection Plan which covers parts, labour and call out

charges for an unlimited number of breakdown repairs and

also extends your warranty to include accidental damage.

Bosch customer service run one of the most efficiently run

computer-controlled nationwide networks in the UK, who can

normally send a Bosch service engineer to you within two days

of your call. Service vans hold a large stock of replacement

spare parts on board and over 97% of all functional parts are

immediately available from stock. In the rare event that a part

is not in stock, a computer link to the German spares

operation in Munich ensures that it will be ordered without

delay. If an appliance is discontinued, we guarantee that the

major components will still be available for at least 10 years.
