Barrier gates are one of the most eective types of automation for controlling the vehicle trac in
parking lots, private entrances and reserved apartment complex areas. CAME’s range is complete
with 24V D.C. models in galvanized and painted steel with a stainless steel option. Any type of
passageway can be controlled: from small, narrow areas with quick barriers, to very wide passages
of up to 40 ft. A large range of dedicated accessories are also available, designed to complement
the gates, even with special features, such as articulated gate arms and break-away devices. The
table below showcases the complete range of barrier gates in accordance to the width of the
passageway, the limitations of use and the residential or commercial application setting.

exit only to authorized
personnel. The equipment
can also be integrated

other or synchronized at the
same access point.

The Gard4 24V D.C. electronics system automatically recognizes a power outage and activates
the emergency back-up batteries (not included), to ensure the gate will always perform its
function.

The 24V D.C. electronics enable the operating speed to be based on installation/location
requirements.
· Intensive traffic
The low 24V D.C. gear motor ensures reliable operation of the barrier during heavy/high trac
conditions.
· Opening time
With the low-voltage consumption technology, the barrier opening time can be adjusted between
2-6 seconds.

Depending on the conguration of the accessories required for mounting the boom, dierent kinds of
springs are available to provide the best possible balance of movement. The table shows the
possible combinations of the various accessories and the maximum length of the moving boom.
Standard issue booms come with transparent proles and head cap.

The Gard12 new generation electronics provide for total control of the system, improving the usual
command and safety functions, such as:
· Obstacle detection
A special electronic circuit constantly analyzes the proper functioning of the barrier, and will either
stop or invert the mode, if it comes into contact with any obstacles.
· Delayed motion during opening or closing
For sefety purposes, the electronics featured in 001G12010 allow decelerated movement of the bar
nearing its end range of motion in the nal stages of gate opening or closing.
· No more blackouts
The 24V D.C. Gard12 automatically detects any interruption in the power source and immediately
activates the emergency mode through the auxiliary batteries. (optional)

Gard barriers are the ideal solution for
controlling access points in residential and
commercial areas, even in high trac areas.
The G4000UL and G6000UL barriers are
easy to install.
Suited for clearances of up to 22 ft. Gard barriers come in
different models depending on the passage.
The G4000UL was designed for clearance of up to 13ft.,
and the G6000UL for clearances of up to 22ft. Both models
are fitted with a 24V D.C. operator and suited for intensive
and frequent use.
