Centaur will overcome

Enhance security by eliminating the need for keys, which are easily lost or duplicated and
disappear when terminated employees fail to return them. Access cards can be disabled
instantly, or tagged with “lost”, “stolen” or “invalid” status.
Centaur’s Integrated Access Control Software offers you a complete access control
solution with integration management of CCTV, Fire and Intruder. From a single door
system to a complex multi-site installation with numerous card holders, Centaur is geared
to perform and gives you a level of exibility never seen in the industry.
Access privileges for users can be modied on-line in real-time without issuing
new cards. Visitors can be issued access privileges in seconds. Individuals can be
tracked and daily reports generated on their movements. Highly sensitive areas
can be monitored real-time for maximum security.
Centaur grows with you as the needs of your facility evolve, the system can easily be
expanded to overcome any access control challenge.

Stand-alone operation
The intelligent Centaur system will continue
working if your computer goes down. All operational
information is transmitted to controllers, which will
run independently if communication is lost, so that
you will not lose control of access… ever. When the
power goes out, access control will not be paralyzed.
Centaur controllers include backup batteries to
ensure system functionality on power failiure.

A great deal of effort has gone into designing a user
interface that drastically reduces the learning curve
and allows operation of the software with ease.
There's no need to sort through confusing multi-
layered windows when everything you need is on the
main screen and a mouse click away. Centaur was
designed with the operator in mind, and set up is via
a powerful conguration wizard.

Video Module (DVR/NVR)
Centaur’s video management module can associate a
specic access control event with a video recording and let
you playback up to 60 seconds before and after that event,
from archived footage. It also lets you capture a video image
(frame) during the playback or live camera viewing in jpeg
format.
Display real-time video and compare the person accessing
a door to the picture associated in the database, with the
Frontview module.

Intruder alarm integration
Centaur’s intruder alarm integration will allow rst access
to users who have the authority to disarm the system.
All other users will be denied access, regardless of their
normal access rights, until the system is disarmed. When
allowing the rst authorized access, Centaur will send a
signal to disarm the intruder alarm system automatically.
Parking Management
Centaur’s Parking Management provides you with a real time
parking activity monitor. It allows you to quickly see how many
parking places are used, by which user and how many parking
spaces are available. Manually allocate or free-up parking
spaces. Activate a “PARKING FULL” sign, when the parking
capacity is reached. Finally, generate reports on parking usage
and activities.

Guard Tour
Live interactive guard tour allows check point validation using
card readers, key switch inputs or data collectors. Includes
live alarms for time violations and intuitive exception reports.

Visitor Management
Centaur’s Visitor Management can monitor and record all visitors
coming to your premises. Centaur Visitor Management preserves
a complete record of all visitor activities and keeps each visitor’s
information for subsequent visits.

your company activities. Track the accesses of a specic employee, verify who
accessed a specic door at a precise date and time or calculate how many
hours of overtime you will pay. A report wizard allows you to create custom
reports easily. With Centaur’s report generation software you can monitor
your company’s activities without even being there.
