“Project Happy Feet!” is a service club dedicated to supporting
and sustaining an after-school tap dance program by the same
name, that will be implemented at The Dolphin Club Child Care
Center, located at Eastshore Elementary and created as part of a
Girl Scout Gold Award. This tap dance program will be offered to
the Dolphin Club Child Care Center children, who are
underserved and underrepresented due to their parents working
long hours, many of them coming from single family homes with
financial difficulties and therefore limiting their access to healthy
extracurricular activities.

Service

Through mentorship and service we will provide opportunities for
students to explore different careers in medicine and science.
I am creating this club in order to promote the performing arts at
Woodbridge. Since countless individuals at our school are
talented in music, I wanted to give them the opportunity to
perform in front of their peers and apply their talents in
beneficial ways.
YAT serves the teens of Irvine by hosting and promoting
community service events, social events, and drug prevention
campaigns.
I am creating this club to educate and involve high school
students in California's state government.
We want to empower youths who have not yet gotten their
chance to contribute to Woodbridge HS because they are either
new to the school and unfamiliar with the WHS environment or
not fluent in English.
