rolled in a second direction
(return pass), the grass
could
remain standing up. Stripes
appear more natural when this
area is not rolled.
Each user should first
determine how many inches
they typically overlap their deck
prior to selecting the
appropriate roller width. To
create wide, vibrant stripes, the
operator should attempt to limit
the amount of overlap to 2”-4”.
In doing so a roller width that
is approximately 4”-8” smaller
than the mower deck would be
considered most appropriate.
In this example we would
recommend LGT42 for a JD
mower with 48” mowing deck.
