Panel Fan Direct Drive
as standard. (Open motors are not
recommended.)
• All available motor configurations
(chemical type, 50 cy, etc.) are available
as an option.
• Formed motor mounting plate to minimize
vibration.
• Split Tapered Standard Drive Hubs permit
easy removal of the fan from the shaft for
maintenance purposes
• Standard finish: Coated with a polyester
powder coat paint system for long life and
superior corrosion resistance.
Accessory Equipment
• RAIN LOUVERS supplied in heavy duty
galvanized steel to protect against rain on
supply units.
• WALL BOXES for mounting to wall
openings and/or for mounting screens or
shutters. (Can also be used to convert wall
fan into semi-portable spot or man cooler.)
• SHUTTERS are available in air, manual
and electric motor operated types.
• DISCHARGE SCREENS are constructed
of heavy gauge wire and of a mesh
suitable for most industrial applications.
Series FHI
NON-OVERLOADING AIRFOIL Cast
Aluminum Fan Blades are a special feature
to insure high operating efficiencies.
Conventional flat blades cause excessive air
turbulence which results in motor overloads
and poor acoustic performance.
Standard Features
• Heavy duty cast aluminum propeller with
Airfoil blades for quiet, efficient operation.
Standard construction is 4-bladed propeller
through 36" and 6-bladed propeller through
60". Other duties and arrangements are
available. Consult factory.
• Deep spun venturi-type orifice for quieter,
more efficient operation.
• Rugged all-welded structural frame for
added support and lower vibration.
• Taper-lock bushing between propeller and
shaft for ease of removal, should it become
necessary.
• Motors are totally enclosed, fan cooled
