When you sell a Visteon Satellite Kit, PLEASE make sure that you include the correct
Installation manual and the User manual with every kit you sell. This is the
distributors responsibility to make sure that their customers have these with each
kit purchased.

When you sell the Visteon Bluetooth Kit (CK3100), Find out what kind of phone the
customer has and make sure it is on the compatibility phone list. If phone is not on
list call Parrot at 877-9PARROT (972-7768) they will assist you and tell you what
features the phone will have with the kit if not on list. PLEASE make sure that you
include Installation manual and the User manual with each kit.

OPERATE BOTH DVD & SATELLITE AT THE SAME TIME, they will get conflict error message on radio and/or
DVD display. Can only play one at a time.
The NEW DVD MAP for CANADA has the Voice Recognition Disabled. Customer will get following message, "VOICE RECOGNITION NOT
ENABLED" on radio display. This is normal for Canada disc, p/n 7W1T-10E989BA on DVD and 7W1T-10E987-BA on CASE. 2003-2006

Locate the correct radio in the chart above. DVD is only compatible with radios as indicated above. Radio software level is shown below the DVD compatibility YES/NO. Software
level can be determined using the method below (3).

The Ford Accessory DVD package can only be installed in vehicles that have the DVD prep kit installed at the factory - Option #91D. There is no Ford
authorized installation procedure for trucks without the DVD prep kit regardless of radio compatibility.

The Job 1 and Job 2 radio incompatibility issue is due to a change in the manufacturing source and the software for the 2005 radios. Both changes were late
for the initial 2005 build. This resulted in a fall back to a Job 1 and Job 2 split in compatibility. The chart above identifies the correct combination of radios and
DVD players. There is no work around for this matrix - i.e. there is no way to make a Job 1 radio compatible with a Job 2 DVD.

Radio Software Level. The Radio Software Level may be determined by using the following method. This is the best way to assure compatibility between the
radio and DVD player. A full explanation may be found in the 2004 and 2005 F150 Workshop Manual, Section 415-00 Entertainment System.
Quick Steps:
1. Turn ignition key "ON".
2. Press the AM/FM button on the radio.
3. Simultaneously press and hold the 3 and 6 preset buttons 1-2 seconds (Speaker Test).
4. Press preset 4 within 5 seconds (Soft Levels)
5. Press the tune up button (^).
6. Record the MAIN software level. Compare with chart above.
7. Turn the radio "OFF" and then "ON" again by pushing the volume knob twice. Ignition "OFF" is NOT the same.

To make sure the radio and DVD unit are compatible, you need to ck the FES software level through the radio also. You can access this information the same
way as the radio software level with above Quick steps and select FES SOFTWARE.
1. For 2004 radio MAIN software 01.09.0 or higher with FES software 04.09.0
2. For 2005 radio MAIN software 00.08.0 or higher with FES software 01.04.0
3. For either radio if FES is not connected software level will be 00.00.0
