Instructions for Filling Online Application for Pragati & Saksham
Scholarship for 2015-16
Candidates admitted in AICTE approved institutions for first year Degree/Diploma in the academic
year 2015-16, are eligible to apply for Pragati/Saksham Scholarship as per the provisions of the
schemes. Details on eligibility criteria and other relevant information about the schemes will be
available at http://www.aicte-india.org/pragathisakshamscheme.php.
How to fill Online Application for Pragati/Saksham Scholarship_2015-16:
1. Navigate to AICTE Portal at http://www.aicte-pragati-saksham-gov.in to register for the Pragati
or Saksham scheme.
2. Click on “Register Here” to create new profile. Enter the details and click on “Register”.
3. Confirmation e-mail link will be sent to the registered e-mail ID. Please click on the link to
confirm your registration.
4. Login at http://www.aicte-pragati-saksham-gov.in with the registered e-mail Id/User name and
Password to fill online application form as detailed below:
A. Enter personal details under the Tab “Personal Details”.
B. Enter details of family and income under the Tab “Family & Income Details”
C. Enter the details of the Institute in which Admission is taken for first year Degree or Diploma
course along with fee paid details under the Tab “Institute Details”.
D. Enter SSC/10th Standard and HSC/12th Standard details under the Tab “Education Details”.
E. Enter the details of the Savings Bank Account under the Tab “Bank Details”.
F. Attach the following Scanned documents under the Tab “Attachments”:
i. SSC/10th Standard Mark sheet.
ii. HSC/12th Standard Mark sheet.
iii. Annual Family Income Certificate as per Annexure-I (or) as per the State Government
format issued by the Competent Authority of the State Government.
iv. Admission letter issued by the Centralized Admission Authority to first year
Degree/Diploma courses for the academic year 2015-16.
v. Tuition fee paid receipt for the academic year 2015-16.
vi. Scanned Copy of first page of Bank Pass Book(Only Saving Bank Account in
Candidate name) clearly indicating the following:
a. Name of Account holder (candidate) with Photograph
b. Name and Address of the Bank
c. IFSC Code of the Bank
d. Saving Bank Account Number of the account holder (candidate)
vii. Certificate Issued by the Director/Principal/HOD as per Annexure-II
viii. Certificate Issued by Competent Authority in case of candidates applying for
Saksham Scheme (Only for Physically Disabled Candidates having more than 40%
disability) as per the State Government Format.
ix. Declaration by Parents as per Annexure - III for Pragati Scheme and as per
Annexure - IV for Saksham.
x. Aadhaar Card (If Available).
xi. Candidate Photograph.
xii. Candidate Signature.
Note: -1. All the Scanned documents which are to be uploaded along with Online
Application should be only in jpg./pdf./png. Formats.
2. File size of all the scanned documents should be less than the size mentioned
in the online application under the respective headings.

Declaration by Parent for Pragati Scholarship Scheme
This is to certify that the information filled in the application by My daughter Kumari

in…………………………….Course for the academic session 2015-16 through centralized counseling in
…………………………………………………………….college is correct. I certify that only one daughter of mine
named…………………………………………………………………………………………is making the current application to avail this
scholarship facility.
Further, I undertake to submit that, I will be availing the facility of scholarship for Girls under PRAGATI
scheme only for my daughter Kumari………………………………… and not for any other girl child of my family.
Also, I undertake, that at any stage, if the information given by me or my daughter is false/ violate the terms
and conditions of the Scholarship, the Scholarship sanctioned to my daughter will be cancelled and the entire
amount of Scholarship will be refunded/recovered from me or from my daughter, apart from liability of penal action
