Superior
We developed a
new awl design.
One that’s sharp
and easily punches
through leather and
rugged materials like
heavy canvas.
We even added
a thread loop for
emergency repairs.

Exacting
Surge’s 5/16”
screwdriver is
hollow-ground
for a better fit.
And, it comes in
a standard size
professionals use.

Convenient
The first Leatherman that lets you change
blades. Our blade exchanger comes with an
open-tooth saw and two-sided file. It also fits
standard T-shank blades, so you can choose
exactly the tool you need.

Detailed
Our engineers think
of everything. They
inserted bronze
bushings between
the handles and all
4 outside-opening
blades. Why? Just to
make them smoother
to open and close.

Ultra-Sharp
Leatherman is known
for ultra-sharp
knives. Now they’re
even larger. Surge’s
straight knife has the
longest cutting edge
we make. And, you
can open its straight
and serrated knives
with just one hand.

Strong
Surge’s pliers are 10% bigger than the pliers
on our 4” multi-tools. With them, you’re able
to cut larger, heavier wires with less effort.

Versatile
Three different wire
cutters on one tool?
Use the regular wire
cutters for TV and
telephone wires.
Hard-wire cutters for
nails and fish hooks.
And stranded-wire
cutters for electrical
wire and bike cables.

Efficient
Carry 4 screwdrivers
in the space of two.
Versatile bit drivers
come with doubleended bits that you
can quickly change
to fit the day’s work.

Tough
Our new scissors have even sturdier blades
than before. And, they open easily from the
outside of the handle. In seconds they’re
ready to cut tough materials like plastic,
carpet and metal flashing.

Surge® Bits & Blades

Two double-ended bits for the bit drivers
and two blades for the blade exchanger are
sold with Surge. Leatherman’s bits are made
from S2 tool steel, which is 35% stronger
than stainless. Both blades have a T-shank
design that fits securely in the tool. Our
two-sided file has a coarse side for everyday
jobs, and a diamond-coated side for fine
honing. And, the open-tooth saw blade gets
off to a fast start and is easy to use.

The Leatherman Difference
The Leatherman name is synonymous with expertly
engineered multi-tools. Ever since he came up with
the idea in 1975, Tim Leatherman has been focused
on one thing—creating the world’s best multi-tool.
With Tim’s invention, cranky cars are no longer a
problem. Leaks can be fixed on the spot. And bottle
caps are opened—even in the middle of the desert.
The multi-tool has changed our activities, sports and work. Making lives easier,
and even saving a few from time to time. Own a genuine Leatherman tool, and
you’ll understand.
Leatherman. Now you’re ready®.

Warranty
Leatherman Tool Group proudly stands behind our products with a
25-year limited warranty and fast warranty service. For complete warranty
details visit www.leatherman.com.

Our multi-tools handle tough jobs everyday. That doesn’t mean they need to be
tough to handle. Rounded edges give
you a firm, comfortable grip.
